Teachers are very helpful and good knowledge about the subjects.

Dislikes

Sometimes senior come between the classes ask to protest.

Placement Experience:

In 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement.Some companies that come in college is TCS,WIPRO.Mimimum salary is Rs.10500 and maximum is 15000.i don't know about students placement.after getting degree I will pursue for m.com

Exams are held on time and also results are announced timely.
Availability of library in college which has a wide variety of books available.
The teaching as well as non-teaching faculty is very good and helpful.

Dislikes

College doesnot provide any campus placements.
College does not provide any internships.
The campus is small and also infrastructure is old.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.com course at Vanijya Mahavidyalaya, Patna University because of it well-structured curriculum. The curriculum provides a strong base in business and commerce feild, preparing students for both masters course as well as professional course such as C.A., M.Com, MBA; etc. Exams are held per semester with college internals followed by semester exams.

this college have very small campus and small infastructure
they are not focusing on other activities apart from study

My experience of my course BBA is average. There are only theoretical part in this curriculum and there was not practical part and there was no case study part. this college following old course curriculum only.

Exams are timely and no cheating also teachers are present all time.
Teachers do come to take classes and on time.
Results come on time and admission to next semester is also on time.

Dislikes

Campus has some anti social elements present.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Vanijya is one of the renowned and oldest college for B.Com(H.) in Patna. Also it is one of the college of Patna University which was earlier known as Oxford of North East India. Exams are moderate and results are also timely.

My not so nice College

In Vanijya mahavidyalaya girls ratio in classes is more than boys because the of the fee structure of college Girls fees in college is based on the reservation provided by bihar government
Our college is government college that's why we are able to take benefits of government schemes.
College faculties are Cooperative and they guides students as per their needs

Dislikes

Political influence in college is higher Students election miss guide the youth in college.
There in no placement facility in college or internship program for skills development.
There should be need for improvement in faculties the classes were goods but not taken frequently with seriousness .

Right now i am pursuing B. Com and I there is variation of new subjects were added in new CBCS system in universities. The course and subjects were very knowledgeable and gives overall good base for the future opportunities

The study in my college is far better and understandable
The professors behaviour in my college is better

My college building is ruins in some places
Professor of some subjects are not available

I want to go in banking background that's why I choose the B.Com Hons. Course.we have to give the class test and mainly two semester exam per year.the teachers are very good but , you have to prepare by yourself for your exams.

Vanijya Mahavidyalaya "Good College with Bad Infrastructure "

Likes

Location of college as it loacted on bank of ganga river.
Faculty are so great and They are equally qualified for their subjects.
Fees of the college are so low in comparison of the other college.

Dislikes

Lack of infrastructure, College lacks basic infrastructure as Library, Sports facilities etc.
Lack of clubs for the activities and other join activities.
Poor placement, as college provide very poor placement and lack of exposure to the company.

The college has very poor placement as it provide very low placement as median salary 3.5L and average salary of 3 L . But the companies who are in the placement program are mainly local thus furthur lack of exposure.

AN In-Depth, Truthful and Honest Opinion about Vanijya Mahavidyalaya, Patna University.

Likes

Affordabiltiy , the admission fees, registration fees as well as examination fees is very low which allows even the poorest of students to continue their studies.
The college is situated on the banks of River Ganga and thus the view from the colege backyard is mesmerizing and peaceful when you go to sit on the ghats.
The faculty is quite good if you attend the classes regularly then you may be easily to grasp the conceps with a little amount of self study.

Dislikes

The college is located in Ashok Rajpath Road of Patna and thus accesibilty is great problem due to lots of traffic and congestion and pollution too
The infrastructure of the college is really poor and It does not even has its own Campus. It runs on the rented campus of Patna College.
There are hardly any types of creative events in the college actually just none from past 3 years and the college life sucks , you will be very bored .

Placement Experience:

No companies visit our campus directly for placements but still some companies come to our University directly and if you are lucky and talented enough , you may land a job there although the package being not very high.

In my 3 year experience with college is good,I learned a lot of things which I applied throughout the my life.

The college experience I will be most thankful for is the opportunity to better myself through education, forming relationship,and experience with the real world and how people relate with one another.My 3 year experience with college/universis good.

Dislikes

I'm my college there is no proper sports faculty,and poor sanitation system,and drinking water problem is one of the most problem in our college.

I have completed my intermediate in commerce from Patna, and after the board exam, I have decided to live in Patna. Patna University's form for the undergraduate program is out and I filled it. After I took the entrance exam, I joined the college.B.com course is totally a real-world economy and accounts problem. I would suggest that students must be trained with application-based knowledge throughout the course. It is a 3-year course and the exam happens once a year, There are a total of 10 questions of which only 5 questions have been answered by the candidate with each question consisting of 20 marks in 3 hours.
