Asutosh College Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course as it suited as per my qualifications. Student to professor ratio is 40:8. Faculty is very well qualified can easily manage to convey the teachings. Teaching method was offline classes but as the covid struck in we had online classes. First semester exams were good conducted timely but again due to covid crisis we had online exams a bit delayed and thereafter they are on time. Pattern was easy and you have to follow the syllabus it will help you.

There is a placement cell in the College for final year students. Comapnies like TCS, Wipro, CTS, Ranbaxy, Accenture and others visit the College. I would not be able to provide first-hand details regarding the packages offered as I have not sat for the placements. I plan to pursue a Master's Degree in Geography. I plan to enter the education field.

I was very fond of geography and I availed pure science course after 10th std. that's why I chose this course. The faculty: student ratio was about 1:5. Qualification of the faculty was MSc and PhD from eminent institutes and the teaching method was very helpful for all of them. The exam routine was decided by Calcutta University every semester. the semesters were taken timely before the pandemic but after the covid breakout, it got a little bit late managing the online semester. The difficulty of each semester depended on the individual papers.

I wanted to pursue my higher education in Geography after 12th and also wanted to acquire a science degree. I have applied here because Ashutosh college is one of the top-ranking A-grade colleges under Calcutta University. The number of seats available is 60 under this course. The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and student friendly and exams are held semester wise now along with internal assessments

In a psychology course, there is absolutely no chance of campus placement. A bachelor's degree in psychology can never get anyone a direct job from campus placement but yes there are plans for master's so that could be a good fit for most students to pursue.

There aren't any placements for undergrad students from the psychology department. Placement however depends upon the course. Courses like MSc, BBA, etc have a varied number of placements depending upon the number of companies visiting the campus.

After 5th sem campusing are done here from well knowned companies and organisations. Microsoft have come once and also anyone can get job from the college authority. Highest package of about 28lakhs per annum had come previously. 9.3 -9.4 is the highest here My plan is to became a scientist

I am in the first year of bsc comp sc hon. I dont really know about the placements here. But I have heard that some big companies come to our college to offer jobs to the freshers. Like Wipro Infosys etc. After my completion of the degree, I am planning to crack cat and do mba from any reputated iim's or any iit's

Admission is totally online process. college publish Merit list on official college website. It occurs after publication of 12th result. Infrastructure of the college is well maintained. Avademic side is so strong. All the departments having good professors doing their job so well. Overall performence of the college is brilliant. Sports are held frequently as well as cultural event. All over a good choice for Graduation.

I think this college give better placement on this course many companies are coming here to offer job for the students many big companies are coming like TCS excellent campusing give thus college to the students for their future.
