- I like faculty because the teachers are very good and very helpful.

- There was not any dislike thing , but one thing i am not satisfied is about the canteen , the canteen food was not quite good

- The way of teaching by the Professors are too good

- We don't get exact 6months for our semester which is very disgusting ad we don't get enough time to prepare for the exam.
Course Curriculum Overview:
All the professors are Ph.D. holders and teach us so well that we don't need any further tuition.
Economics is a tough subject so much effort is needed to pursue this.
I like this subject that's why opted.
Exams are held by Calcutta University on time.

- I like about the college fest and the kindness of the professors and the persons who are available in the college for other curriculum activities.
- The faculty of our college is well good . Everyone is helpful,and the academic section is so easy to do for the students.

- Politics in this college is so famous and this thing is not good for the students.
- There is no ground in the campus for playing and from my point of view this so weird to me.

After completing the 4th semester and being admitted in the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements.
Companies like Infosys, Wipro, cognizant, etc. Visited the college.
The average package is 2.5 lpa and the highest package is 5-6 LPA.
Students get placements only on behave of their skills.

- The faculty: Student ratio is peculiarly high here
Course Curriculum Overview:
The student ratio of my department is obnoxiously high. 70 students in 1 class feel like a cow shed and serious steps must be taken in order to reduce the number of students. The faculty of the department is more or less qualified. Nearly every faculty member has completed their P.hd.

Course Curriculum Overview:
College facilities are very good in guidance in their study field. The teacher is very good. All teachers are Ph.D. degree holders. Exam terms and difficulty are moderate. You have to study to pass the exam.
The exams here are really good and also the checking here is really strict.

Placement Experience:
I have not applied for campusing but those who have and few of them says its very good but salary is not good. So it's better to going for futther studies. But if you are in need for any job then it's the right place.

For some departments, there is a scope of placement. For our department, we were offered to seat in placements. TCS, WIPRO, ICICI, etc companies came and the average package was around 3 lakh per year.
But most of the students don't seat for placement because they're willing to go for higher studies.
After doing B.Sc one can crack IIT JAM JEST TIFR-like exams to opt for M.Sc. in IITs and in a reputed research organization. Similarly after BA, one can go for MA

Course Curriculum Overview:
I have a dream of studying at this college as it is one of the best colleges in Kolkata. And I can continue my NCC from here. All the faculty are so friendly and helpful and most of them are Ph.D. holders.
There are a total of two semesters in a year.

Placement Experience:
Students are eligible from the 5th semester for campus placements.
The exact figure is not disclosed by the college authority.
Very few students take up placement offer as they are not very attractive and they opt for off-campus placements.
After getting the degree I will be pursuing MSc.

The college makes us very good for corporate life. It gives us real-life experience through the internships that we got after the 5th semester. Some of the students got placement but many of the other opt for higher studies.

College campusing is not too good but average. But college prepares us fully with modern market demand so we can easily opt for off-campus jobs. The package averages is around 250000 - 300000 per annum. After getting my degree I will continue my higher studies.

Asutosh College is among the most reputed colleges in Kolkata. It has a legacy of over 100 years. It has brilliant professors and offers good academics. You can study freely here without involving in any politics.
Despite the misconceptions, classes are usually regular and there is rarely any interruption due to any political issue. You don’t need to take part in student unions or politics if you don’t want to.
Asutosh College has an ideal location in central Kolkata. You can easily reach the college by metro or bus from any part of the city.
