The curriculum for Mass Communication covers field such as television, radio, advertising, newspaper, language etc. Faculties ensured to include current affairs and real life applications in their teaching methods along with sharing there on field experiences and conducting frequent seminars by eminent journalists and other experts.

I love anchoring and communication. So i choose journalism and. Mass communication. I love to tell stories through frames. As my college is poor in giving practical knowledge. So i haven't received any skill from there. I love doing volunteering and so i choose Msw as my career

It was my sturn decision to take bachelor of arts in journalism and mass communication as my under graduation course after my qualified 12th standard.Because i have studied some basics of journalism when i was in my 11 and 12th and it was quite interesting and best course of this time. Well after enquiring so much i found to know that mar ivanios college have a the course i was searching for and also there are known for their best teaching method. After interacting with the faculty members at the time admission time. I got much more confident in choosing this course. As i expected i got to experience well with the teaching method, For sure curriculum had prepared me for real world applications or further academic pursuits. Its actually good till now. The timing of exams are only something which needs to be changed beacuse there will exams after every two months and its quite drastic and difficult for each and every students because they are not getting enough time to prepare for the exams

College was the main reason to select this course. It tell what Center for Excellence and all know about it. The college doesn't have much infrastructure for our course so we and faculty usees various methods for studying which makes more understandable. Syllabus needs to update.
The syllabus is really old and the technical stuff taught is really outdated. Old textbooks and old concepts are taught. Equipment study is over 10 years old. Yes, our faculty gives priority for industrial exposure, we have been to news channels, have got to work with camera and filming equipment‰Ûªs etc.The faculty is excellent, Our HOD Dr. Sanjeev is really good with his subject and teaches us all about the industry and field work apart from the age old syllabus.
