Euphoria the festival of joy which is hosted in the month of january is the main cultural festival where all the departments of the college come together and participate very merely.
The fee structure is good and very good for category wise as it gives you the best scholarship.
My course computer engineering it provides me the best curriculum which makes me the best software engineer.

Dislikes

The choice for attending lectures , maintaining their cgpa?? . Counselling does not happen much often and the worst part is parents are called for silly reasons by computer faculty.
There is no such things that can be disliked
No placement preparation and not a good campus for placements

Life of college and college campuses

Likes

I like nature of the teachers they are very helpful and students are very helpful to each other
They do all the things together with a team
They always support their frnds. In every event

Dislikes

There are some some seniors who make fool around the college
We have complained against them and the action has been taken
Principal have gave them warning for not doing this again

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good if the person is interested in take particular course the he or she should take and if not then they should not waste their time and money in that course the time of exams is 3 hrs the students are having ample of time to think and write their paper properly

Very good and experienced faculty for teaching
There are multiple labs for each subject

Dislikes

The computers in the lab are not well maintained. Most of them are not even working like not all but every 1 in 10 PCs are not working

Placement Experience:

When the students clear the 6th semester the students get eligible for the placements in last year of the course. Their are many companies come to the college like Clipla, Kent, TCS, Godrej, Reliance, etc. The highest package offered is 8lacs and the average package are like 3-4lacs. Average 30% of students gets placed.

Campus is good canteen food is good events like euforia ,jalsa,etc are held to attract students. Infrastructure is good enough .sports ground is available .overall ambience and decoram of college is brilliant vehicle parking area is available for stu
Library for students is available . infrastructure of library is commendable . Books are available. Library has internet connection for laptop etc. clg has various labs which has good interior and all equipment available all practical are performed .

After 6 ths semester students are eligible for placement rounds mny companies visit the college like cap Gemini,TCS ,Bajaj,ad mny more well named companies highest package is 7 lakhs per annum provided in Pillai hoc placement and average is 3.5 lakhs

If you wanna have a college life join Pillai HOC but the only badside is very low placement percent

Likes

The campus is really very huge and there are lot's of mountain around the college campus
The college canteen it has lots of variety of food there specialty is malayaalam food but there are non veg food too
The library in the library the total cost of all the books are 1cr+ and the library is really very aesthetic

Dislikes

The computers are very laggy and slow and they teach coding in turbo C instead of visual Studio code
There is a huge crowd in the canteen during the break
The placement percentage is very low and the highest and average package is also very low

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about placement eligibility as i am a first year student but i know that the main company which hire many student is Infosys and tcs the highest package is around 8lpa and average is 3-4lpa the percentage of student getting in campus is very low and my plans after getting the degree is doing a job for some year and after that own startup

College fest name as euphoria it is 4 days fest
The infrastructure of college is good and huge

Dislikes

Water get stuffed sometimes near campus gate during rainy season
Roads outside are small so it is thing i dont like

Various companies like jio,godrej,cap gemini, Infosys tcs comes to campus to hire our student 70 percent of student get placed who applies for job through campus placement highest package of pillai is 32 lakh per annum

Faculty support is great , college staff is very supportive
Events management by the college is good.

Dislikes

Canteen food is not good or not worthy,there is no transportation service for students
Class are not up to the mark ,there is darkness in some classes
There is no extra course conduct by the college management

Placement Experience:

The campus placement In this college is decent like minimum pakaage is 3-4 lpa and max is 12lpa. But is all depends on student and faculty how they build the students to cracks the interview and get placed in good Companies

Pillai hoc College of engineering and technology is good college regarding studies and social life.

Likes

The teachers of first year aur excellent . They guide you perfectly for your career
Cold water is available in ever 5 min of walk distance
Clean and working equipment in labs , and clean washrooms

Dislikes

Attendence is taken much seriously than school
Network issue is the biggest prlb in class
No air conditioner are provided in classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

For sure course curriculum is average , subjects in first year are not well rewarding. Exams are not that much tough if you have even read syllabus once you will score . There are 2 internals and one external in which internals are of 20 or 15 marks and external is 60 or 80 marks depending on subject

Basically I like Infrastructure and Faculties of the college.
The Faculties are so much Nice and supported

Dislikes

The Hostel Managment is not so good and in starting they serve food very good but afterwords it becomes disaster

So Basically the fee structure of pillai HOC college is 100000 per year and of you are giving MHCET then your fee structure will be decided by using your CAST. Campus Placement is up to 8 LPA and This year around 70 to 80 Percent placements are done
