The teachers of first year aur excellent . They guide you perfectly for your career
Cold water is available in ever 5 min of walk distance
Clean and working equipment in labs , and clean washrooms

Dislikes

Attendence is taken much seriously than school
Network issue is the biggest prlb in class
No air conditioner are provided in classes

Course Curriculum Overview

For sure course curriculum is average , subjects in first year are not well rewarding. Exams are not that much tough if you have even read syllabus once you will score . There are 2 internals and one external in which internals are of 20 or 15 marks and external is 60 or 80 marks depending on subject

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is average like any other technology institute we have options like paying in instalments if we really have a prlb paying fee . Government scholarship are also available irrespective of your cast or religion, it is provided to the ppls having less than 8lpa annual income

Campus Life

Campus Life is good , we have some of events ,competitions , parties . We got clubs like music , dancing , literature, etc clubs so to encourage any extra curricular activities and makes students future ready

Admission

Your should have 45% aggregate in pcm , addmission process is easy and fast if college is allotted to you in cap rounds . In pillai hoc there is malyalam minority reservation, exams in engineering are sometimes moderate or even hard you have to put efforts to score , but it will surely take you to your best future

Faculties and experienced and dedicatedto their work , they teach with all their efforts even revision is also taken before exams . Notes is provided in pdf form and also is provided in class while teaching.overall best faculties

Truths about MIT-WPU

Placement Experience:

Students generally get eligible to placement from 6th semester. Some top Companies for cse placemnt which comes are Zs associates,Morgan stanley,tcs,wipro and barclays. Highest package was around 54lpa Average is around 7 lpa There is around 80%median placements.Some students opt for masters abroad. My plan is though to prepare for placement currently but lets see what happens maybe opting for masters could be a plan B.

Actually i have decided to only go for computer science but as my entrance exam score was not that much good. So i decided to go for ai&ds branch as it have much scope than cse. Ai&ds syllabus is very much similar to cse branch so not that much difference. Some practical practice need to be improved in place of learning theory.

If you wanna have a college life join Pillai HOC but the only badside is very low placement percent

I applied in sies but i was getting aids which i didn't wanted and i also applied in pillai college of new panvel in which for just 4 percentile less i didn't get the ce branch in it and the admission for be is through cet cap round and institute level round and the cutoff for my branch in all india quota is 82 which was mine and the admission process was really really smooth and the college staff was really helpful with every like during admission i was not having my caste Validity but they gave me a time of 3 months too submit it...Read More
