Euphoria the festival of joy which is hosted in the month of january is the main cultural festival where all the departments of the college come together and participate very merely.
The fee structure is good and very good for category wise as it gives you the best scholarship.
My course computer engineering it provides me the best curriculum which makes me the best software engineer.

Dislikes

The choice for attending lectures , maintaining their cgpa?? . Counselling does not happen much often and the worst part is parents are called for silly reasons by computer faculty.
There is no such things that can be disliked
No placement preparation and not a good campus for placements

The campus is very big which has various facilities.
The facilities includes grounds,library,gym,indoor game room,etc

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about the placements but I heard that after third year onwards you get placement opportunities . The highest package is 12 lacks and the average package is between 3.5 to 4.5 lacks .

Few words about pillai college

Likes

Infrastructure is awesome, it includes garden with beautiful plants and also caretakers keep the garden well maintained
Canteen is not much great but it is worth the money we spent
Events are one of the best thing in that college

Dislikes

Many students are focused on events rather than studying
Canteen food can be improved, cuz they use same gravy for everything
Network speed can be much more improved.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students start to become eligible for campus placements Many companies like L&T, Lg, tata, mahindra, even indian navy also visited in our college for students placements Highest package any student got ib my college is around 24lpa After completing my degree I'm just doing job

Reality of pillai

Likes

The best thing is the college location...the college is situated in heart of forest..best environment pollution free
The other thing i liked is college campus it is a vast area and best place to make new friend
Third thing is the cooperative faculties over here..they help in everything

Dislikes

Only the problem is the washroom are not clean
Classrooms should be painted every two years

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 7th sem...they have tie up with microsoft starbucks etc..800000 is the highest package i have heard...students with pointer 8+ are mostly easily placed... my plans are to start joining my fathers business

Life of college and college campuses

Likes

I like nature of the teachers they are very helpful and students are very helpful to each other
They do all the things together with a team
They always support their frnds. In every event

Dislikes

There are some some seniors who make fool around the college
We have complained against them and the action has been taken
Principal have gave them warning for not doing this again

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good if the person is interested in take particular course the he or she should take and if not then they should not waste their time and money in that course the time of exams is 3 hrs the students are having ample of time to think and write their paper properly

Very good and experienced faculty for teaching
There are multiple labs for each subject

Dislikes

The computers in the lab are not well maintained. Most of them are not even working like not all but every 1 in 10 PCs are not working

Placement Experience:

When the students clear the 6th semester the students get eligible for the placements in last year of the course. Their are many companies come to the college like Clipla, Kent, TCS, Godrej, Reliance, etc. The highest package offered is 8lacs and the average package are like 3-4lacs. Average 30% of students gets placed.

Excellent college for Emgineering

Pillai HOC College is the one of the biggest college and the best infrastructure they provide
The excellent teaching staff in the college and the best labs they provide us for practical
There are industrial site visit yearly and also the euforia which is biggest festival of the year they provide

Dislikes

The distance from panvel is long but there is nmmt bus is available for transport

My college life and it's experiences

Likes

The college environment and infrastructure is good and suitable for each and every student
All the staff and non teaching staff and clerk are helpful
Ratio is equal to boys and a girls. Each class have equal ratio

Dislikes

Nothing much more could have been more suitable for students travelling from far

Students here are eligible after 7th sem for placement with no backlog or ATKT Very good recognised companies are here for campus interview They offer good and decent package to students and share good practical knowledge among students and the placement recutirier are well qualified

Campus is good canteen food is good events like euforia ,jalsa,etc are held to attract students. Infrastructure is good enough .sports ground is available .overall ambience and decoram of college is brilliant vehicle parking area is available for stu

If you wanna have a college life join Pillai HOC but the only badside is very low placement percent

The campus is really very huge and there are lot's of mountain around the college campus
The college canteen it has lots of variety of food there specialty is malayaalam food but there are non veg food too
The library in the library the total cost of all the books are 1cr+ and the library is really very aesthetic

Dislikes

The computers are very laggy and slow and they teach coding in turbo C instead of visual Studio code
There is a huge crowd in the canteen during the break
The placement percentage is very low and the highest and average package is also very low

I don't know much about placement eligibility as i am a first year student but i know that the main company which hire many student is Infosys and tcs the highest package is around 8lpa and average is 3-4lpa the percentage of student getting in campus is very low and my plans after getting the degree is doing a job for some year and after that own startup
