My experience as an UVCEian

Likes

The faculty and their teaching methodologies
The college has flexible college timings
The pace at which every examination is conducted isn't rushed enabling students to have ample time for preparation without feeling stressed

Dislikes

Not sufficient cultural and sport events
Inactive clubs due to low funding from the campus

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester. Companies like ABB, Royal Enfield, HP, Ernst and Young, Sony, Hitachi, Volvo and mass recruiters like Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro and many others visit the campus for placements. Highest package in EEE department last year was 24LPA plus lifestyle allowances. Approximately 70% of students are placed in entire campus. After my degree, I am looking for getting placed from campus placement for UX position.

Wanna know abou' ma college

Likes

The only college in India where the yearly fee of student are below 50k. All the students have worked their ass of to get into this college so basically many are bookworms and smart brains as well.
College shelters many students from rural background. The college teaches the students the value of money. There are some good spots like rockgarden, minchu where students can spend their time.

Dislikes

The teaching faculty. Even if all the teachers and professors bag PHD, they don't teach you the syllabus properly which ultimately students has to struggle during exams.

Placement Experience:

99 percent of students from CSE/ ISE are placed very year. Generally placement training and the placements review start from 3rd year of engineering. This year it's been a news that three students were offered for 55 lakh per annum of CSE branch.

About som Infrastructure Stii many things in our college are Under process
Like RENEWABLE ENERGY LAB is still under construction
And equipment in Ldic lab are not available 24 hours

Hence coming To placement of Uvce Uvce Will provide one of the Best Placements In Bangalore and Placement of all the courses are very Best and Good and the Placement salary is also Good as much as and highest Package this year was 59Lpa

More than 50+ companies are visiting. More than 50+ companies are visiting and offers are in technical as well as mass companies categories. The highest package is more than 12 and the lowers is 3 . It depends on the major you are in. The placement is quite low for the civil engineering background whereas it's 100% for CS IT etc. I choose to work in the Civil engineering domain.

Placement Experience:

The placement in our college is very good. Around 90% of the students get placed in prestigious companies. Since we have a wide alumni network many companies visit our college throughout the academic year. Last year 2 students hot offers from Australian based companay for 49 LPA which is the highest package.

Good placements with companies like Microsoft google royal Enfield total environment etc. These placements are limited to only css, is, ec, ee. But some will not happen with civil and mech due to poor placements.

Placement Experience:

The college has very good placement. In the 2020 batch, highest package was 49 LPA. Especially if you get computer science (CSE) or information science (ISE) you should not miss this college placement are amazing. Like SAP Labs offered 20 LPA, Fivetran 40 LPA, Walmart, Rakuten 10LPA and many top more companies. From the Sixth semester, only companies start coming to college and there are many more internship opportunities. Almost there will be 2-3 offers for each student placements in this college you can't miss.

Placement Experience:

For sixth semester onwords only the students get placed there are around 240plus companies will come to campus for selection it is glad to me to say that one of senior is serving in a company in which he placed for 40lakh, and this year also this is continued, for ISE branch their is 100% placement record and in the previous year all are placed that is an unbreakable record from UVCE. When you admit to UVCE you will get lot of opportunities plenty of offers and also plenty of good things extra knowledge.

For CS and IT branches the placement is good for M. Tech mechanical very few will get jobs and internships. From the final year, students are eligible to get placed and based on the company percentage criteria the shortlisting is done.

From 6th sem students are eligible. Companies like SAP, roulette, Atlassian, TCS, Wipro, visit the college. The average package of 5lakhs p.a. And the highest salary of 50lck p.a is provided in UVCE. Almost 100% of students of ise and cse get placed. In other branches, it lies between 80-85%. I wish to take up MBA.
