The examination system is structured with two mid-semester exams, one compulsory exam, and an end-semester exam, with many questions frequently repeating from past papers. Though the college operates autonomously, lab attendants are often viewed as ineffective. In terms of placements, about 75% of the mechanical engineering students from the 2024 batch have received job offers, despite the limited number of companies participating in campus recruitment.
The annual tuition fee is INR 26,000 for general and OBC category students whose family income exceeds INR 3.5 lakh. Scholarships are available for OBC and SC/ST students, which can reduce the total cost of obtaining a B.Tech degree to as low as INR 1.5 lakh.
