Dislikes

College fees are 6k. Hostel fees are 6k. Mess fees are 2k monthly. Exam fees are approximately 2k. Government College of Technology in Coimbatore is one of the cheapest colleges. You can complete your BTech for less than 1 lakh.
Here comes the major drawback of my college: the hostel facility. The rooms will be very small. The quality of the meals will be very bad. We will eat outside to avoid it here. The registration process is simple only. No, I didnt rent, and there is no option like that

The college i miss

Likes

Hostel, campus infrastructureand the fee structure
Getting placements within the campus and helping seniors in coaching for placements

Dislikes

The distance to travel from my home to college was i dislike the most

Placement Experience:

The placements are excellent. The maximum package is 13 LPA and the minimum is around 3 LPA. Almost 98 per cent of students get their placement before the end semester. Bulk recruiting companies like TCS and Robert bosch Aspire systems Will do on-campus interviews.

Students are placed in over 25 companies every year based on their skills. The average salary is 4.5L per annum. Nearly 70% of students are get placed in companies. Tcs are the major recruiters. There are various start-up companies also visiting our campus.

Good place to learn good things

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, the students are eligible to participate in campus interview, and companies like TCS, Mahindra, CTS, Zoho visit our college. Our college's highest package is 20 LPA (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) and the average salary is around 6-8 LPA. My plan is to crack GATE Exam and join any PSU's.

Remarks:

Government College of Technology is one of the best colleges in Tamilnadu.It is located in Coimbatore. First reason is that I want to experience the Coimbatore atmosphere. Other than that the atmosphere and Relationship between Professors and students is amazing. I want to be different so I chose instrumentation field. I damn sure that you will never get disappointed.

About my cologne

Remarks:

The positive thing is GCT is a college full of freedom, students are allowed to their wish. Which allows them to grow their thinking. The negative thing is the infrastructure is in the need of improvement.

Experience beyond boundaries.

Remarks:

The college management was extremely helpful in shaping our career well the college were run for charity purposes and that many students from villages were able to succeed in life after getting an admission here. Also we were able to connect with people of different culture after joining here.
