Handique Girls College Guwahati Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Campus Placements are available for only Computer Science Students as per my knowledge. Students from the 5th semester become eligible to seat in for the interviews and rounds. Companies like Wipro and cognizant visit every year. I m still in my second year so I do not know about the average package that is offered, but I heard it's quite nice. I m planning to seat for the placements too.

This college includes only girls students. It's faculty is very good. College admission process is totally on merit based. About 2500 girls students enroll in college every year. This college is situated on the western bank of the picturesque and the historic Dighalipukhuri, Guwahati.

It's good, teachers are good. It's one of the top colleges in Assam. Friendly environment. The classrooms are big. Canteen was good as well.There were huge trees. Library was also good. Many facilities etc.

As it is the most prestigious college in Assam Guwahati. This college offers good amount of good teachers and from h.s i like my course alot so decided to take up this subject as major subject so took admission in this college

No other way to choose so choose this college for further education, they say college is where you find yourself, but I keep getting lost on the way to class, so I have to find that first. This college is full of girls

Campus placement is too good . Even home science student completed their course and came back here for future experience Some get sets in other places. My plans after degree is to complete my msc

Our college is famous for its faculty. they are very friendly wd their students, students xan discuss their personal problems too with their teacher. the location of the college is also good. The college was not very far from my place. My seniors told me that economics dept. Is so good in this college. So i choose this college for my graduation.

First of all I wanted to take admission because it's a girls college and I have the scope to learn something new. It has a reputation. It is in preferable distance from my house. The place is also quite preferable, near our college there is panbazar where I can find bookshops. The transportation is good. As I had completed my H.s in a different college, I also wanted to leave my comfort zone and explore more with new people.

Faculty: HGC has one of the best faculties in North East for English Literature. The professors pay individual attention to the students and are concerned about their betterment not just in academic field but also as a person. The faculty is highly learned, caring and sincere when it comes to teaching. Location: HGC is located opposite to the beautiful Dighalipukhuri. Transportation - be it bus, cabs, auto or rickshaw is not a problem since it is a centre location. Also restaurants, food stalls, beverage stalls, xerox and printing shops are in the vicinity making it easier for the students to have lunch if they are not in the mood to lunch at the college canteen. Reputation: HGC is culturally active and has churned out gems who are in various fields of Assamese art and culture today.
