- Good preparation of the placement. Trained you well
- The campus life is too good , very close to nature and good studying environment
- The faculty is also too good and they interact with students regularly

- There is no outer market or places to hangout.
Placement Experience:
From the start of semester 4 students become eligible for campus placement
The major companies are JP Morgan HSBC Bank of New York standard chartered Nomura
Package will be 24 lacs and their lowest packages 10.2

Likes
- The placement committee is helpful. The opportunities are also good.
- The hostel facilities are great. The food is also better than a lot of colleges with the same fees.
- The campus is really beautiful. It's really peaceful and the sky looks beautiful every evening.
Dislikes
- There are very less places to visit nearby. The nearest city is chennai which is 80km far.
- There are snakes and insects around the campus.
Placement Experience:
The students get opportunities from the 4th trimester itself but the majority of companies visit in the 5th trimester. In my academic year, due to recession the offers got affected but the college generally gets 100% placements with decent median package. For my batch the average was 12 lpa. The lowest and highest were 6 lpa and 22 lpa. The companies which offer great packages are Nomura, HSBC, Barclay's, Yubi etc.

Remarks:
IFMR GSB is renowned for its pedagogy and faculties. Their education system and course is as per the demand in the industries. Besides this MBA college is measured by its placement records and IFMR GSB is having good record in comparison to other colleges of same level and tier.
