IFMR GSB Placements 2023 final report is released with 100% placements recorded. According to the report, IFMR GSB highest package increased by 17% to INR 22.90 LPA whereas IFMR GSB average package increased by 22% to INR 13.50 LPA. Students received 30 pre-placement offers. The highest number of offers came from the BFSI sector (56%). Recruiters made diverse job roles like Global Risk & Analytics, Financial Risk Advisory, Strategy Consultant, Wealth Management, Stress Testing etc. A total of 55 recruiters including 14 new recruiters participated in the placement drive. Some of the top recruiters included Nomura, HSBC, Axis Bank, Wells Fargo, EY, Deloitte, pwc etc.

- The hostel facilities are great. The food is also better than a lot of colleges with the same fees.

- There are very less places to visit nearby. The nearest city is chennai which is 80km far.

The students get opportunities from the 4th trimester itself but the majority of companies visit in the 5th trimester. In my academic year, due to recession the offers got affected but the college generally gets 100% placements with decent median package. For my batch the average was 12 lpa. The lowest and highest were 6 lpa and 22 lpa. The companies which offer great packages are Nomura, HSBC, Barclay's, Yubi etc.

Placement Experience:
Students will be able to sit for exams during the 4th trimester. Companies like JPMC, Deloitte, Crisil, Accenture, Barclays, HCL, Wells Fargo, Citi visit the campus. Around 50-60 companies visit the campus with various roles. The highest package was offered by the World Bank which was 17.4. Average package is around 8-9Lpa. All the students get placed on the campus.

From Semester 5th students are eligible for placements. Companies start coming by the end of the 4th semester. Numerous companies visit the campus, be it Big 4 consulting companies. One can refer to their placement reports for in-depth details. All students get placed through the campus process.

Placements and job opportunities are upto the expectations all the big Finance companies come to Ifmr with a descent package through which freshers can start their professional with. Roles are also upto the mark this year almost 49 companies came giving opportunity for 185 people.

Yes, 3 Months of Internship. Companies - SBI, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, D&B Transunion, Ogilvy & Mather, Deutsche Bank, etc. General Stipend was Rs. 10,000 - Rs. 30,000 for 3 Months Internship.

Placement is being 100 % throughout all batches. Companies like, Nomura, Bank of America, all IT companies, few marketing companies and few other finance companies come for campus placement.
