Curriculum is case based where students first understand the concepts theoretically and then the faculties dive deep into the case studies to analyze and explain what went right or wrong. This helps to understand business problems and correlate slutions.
After the core terms, the student is available to sit for placements. The number of companies is more than 1000 and offers more than 1800. The lowest package is 25L and the highest is 80L, but some may get even higher for moving abroad.
They always try to bring their best to the placement cell. The package starts from 15 lakhs so many MNC's had participated in the placement cell. 80% of the students had got placed in MNC's. Big MNC's like Amazon, Wipro, Mahendra, Axis, ICICI had taken place.
The student has to complete 32 mandatory credits for course completion. There are 16 core courses that are mandatory for every student to complete and there are 16 electives to complete. Student can choose electives from any specialization and has to complete a minimum of 6 elective courses in a particular stream to specialize in that particular area. There are approximately 60 students per class and there are 10 classes for each course. All the faculty focus on immense research and bring their expertise into the class in each subject. Exams depend on each subject, however, generally, there will be a midterm exam and end-term exam for each subject that occurs every alternate week. Competition is tough and needs immense preparation to attain good grades.
I chose the PGP course at ISB as it is one of the best B schools in India and I wanted to work in India in the long run. The faculty at ISB is one of the best in the world with Professors from Wharton, Stanford, LBS.

For getting admission into this college you have to clear entrance examination named GMAT/GRE . After clearing the examination you have to apply for the counselling separately. Admission is not so much hectic and lengthy process.
The admissions are offered to the students on the basis of CAT scores. Students can also take admission through GMAT scores but I gave CAT exam. The selection process is divided into two parts. First is entrance exam and then Interview round is conducted. This is one of the premiere institute for management and business course.
