An updated version of GMAT
A new form of the exam has been introduced known as GMAT focus edition instead of the old GMAT version. The old version was available till the last day of January and its scores will be valid for five years.
While the new version which is effective from February 1 is nearly one hour shorter than the previous version of the GMAT and requires less content to prepare.
The GMAT focus edition is used by more than 7,700 programs offered by more than 2,400 universities and institutions in 114 countries with testing in over 600 test centres around the world.
There will be three sections in the exam which the candidates have to attempt. These are quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning and integrated reasoning or data insights. The overall test time is 2 hours 15 minutes. The exam can be taken in both online and offline mode.
The applicants can complete the registration at any time of the year. They can book exam dates after checking the available slots.

How to get into ISB?
After the completion of GMAT 2024 exam, the candidate will receive three scores based on the sections Quantitative, Verbal, Data Insights and they will also get a total GMAT Focus score.
The total GMAT score is based on your all three sections' scores. They will also get a percentile score, which will tell them how much they have scored comparatively to every 100 candidates taking the exam. The updated version of the exam score ranges between 205-805.
If a candidate has given his or her GMAT exam and is wishing to take admission in Indian School of Business then they must apply as ISB accepts GMAT score. Please note that there is no difference between the ISB Hyderabad and ISB Mohali Campuses. ISB has maintained the GMAT score range between 610-780.
There are three modes of entry of admission into the school. The first is direct entry under which all of those who have got more than two years of experience can apply. They need a valid GMAT\ GRE score.
The second is an early entry option under which those who have got less than two years of experience are also eligible. However they will get a deferred admission offer letter which means the candidate can join the post graduate Programmes (PGP) once they have completed 24 months of experience.
The last option is the young leaders programme under which all those who are still in their final year of the graduation can still apply. They don't need a GMAT\GRE score for a period of time and just need to submit the application along with 10th, 12th and graduation details. The GMAT-GRE will be needed next year which will be stage two so the candidate gets 8-10 months to prepare from now till the second stage.
Candidates need to apply online on the ISB website. The last date to apply for the PGP course for the 2024-2025 is September 15, 2024.
In order to apply, the candidates need a valid GMAT\GRE score, bachelor’s degree in any discipline, a LOR only from a professional network, two essays out of which one will highlight your uniqueness and second will be on career goals.

The ISB has two campuses namely ISB Hyderabad and ISB Mohali. They offer a postgraduate Program (PGP) course which is a one-year course aiming at developing working professionals by delivering pragmatic knowledge about the contemporary business world.
