Despite having degrees from prestigious universities, some professors are not fully committed to teaching and providing quality education to their students. The administration's approach to filling the larger batch size has led to the admission of mediocre students who are not serious about their education and cause disruptions in the classroom and in the hostels. This creates a negative environment that can affect the learning experience of all students. The administration has also failed to enforce rules and regulations, allowing students to engage in harmful activities like smoking, drinking, and damaging hostel properties. These actions have led to a decline in the reputation of the campus and have negatively impacted the placements of students. Companies have noticed the lack of skills and poor behavior of some students during the recruitment process, which has led them to question the quality of education being provided at IBS Hyderabad. To restore its former glory, the administration needs to prioritize improving the quality of education and ensuring that rules and regulations are followed by all students. Additionally, offering mental conditioning classes for students can help them develop a more professional demeanor, both in the classroom and during the recruitment process, ensuring that the campus continues to attract top companies for placements.

Why is ISB Hyderabad so covert in Indian rankings despite having a fair global ranking?

The Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad is an internationally recognized business school that holds accreditation from AACSB and EQUIS, which are both prestigious international accreditation boards. However, ISB is not accredited by AICTE, which is the accreditation board for technical education in India. This is because ISB Hyderabad offers a unique one-year MBA program called the Post Graduate Program (PGP), which is designed for professionals with an average of 4.7 years of work experience. This program is not approved by AICTE, as it is not comparable to the traditional two-year MBA programs that are typically designed for freshers or individuals with less work experience. ISB Hyderabad is also a globally oriented school, with a diverse faculty from top institutions such as Wharton and Kellogg, and a curriculum that is designed to reflect the standards of top US business schools. The PGP program does not compete with the two-year MBA programs offered by other Indian business schools and is therefore not featured in Indian rankings.

All the aforementioned colleges are among the best B Schools in India so the choice between them depends on your preference and future prospects. You need to determine what exactly you want from the program and where your career currently is. In general, ISB is for people who have better industry experience, good leadership skills and decent academics. The other B Schools focus more on excellent academics throughout your career. The ranking of these institutes in my opinion is ISB, IIM-A, B, C>IIM-L, FMS, XLRI,>SPJIMR The above preference order is based on a number of factors like career progression, college market value perception, quality of faculty, quality of students, academic learning, quality of recruiters and infrastructure.

Yes, few companies had offered the internship for the students, which is of 3 to 6 months time. In that period, they offered the amount of 20k. After they complete their internship they are placed in their company and they provided the qualification certificate also.

ISB- A truly transformational experience

Overall really good placements. All top tier consulting and marketing firms visit the college for campus placements. There's also this experiential learning program that you can be a part of. As it is a one year course, there are no internships.

Average CTC is 25 LPA. All industry leaders in consulting (MBB) investment banking, technology (Google, amazon, Microsoft) and unicorns recruit from Campus. All students get placed.

My indian school

The normal compensation for the bunch is between 25-28 lakhs and the whole group get set before the finish of the course.The school has organizations in all divisions and enterprises select for the class. The placement cell in our college guides and train the graduating students for campus placement. And our college has a reputation of 100% placement. The average CTC salary package offered was around Rs.19-20 LPA.

My college review

ISB has an integrated placement process for the PGP class. The average domestic CTC is INR 24,35,915. The placement process takes about four months. It happens through a series of on-campus presentations and hundreds of job postings.
