- The campus life is fun. There are a huge number of activities to do in college.
- The campus is very beautiful. It is nestled on top of a hill with lush greenery all around.
Dislikes
- Certain faculties are new and inexperienced.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees are to be paid in 3 comfortable installments, of which first two are to be paid in the first year and the third installment is to be paid at the start of second year. Scholarships are awarded to meritorious worth 5 lacs each.

- Campus life, as its the first time i have moved out of home and its a new experience for me.
- Infrastructure its well equipped with wifi and latest technology we even have latest technology
Dislikes
- This place is far from the main city so to get anything we have to travel sorm kms
Fees and Financial Aid:
Total fees is around 23 lacs in total including academics, 4 course meal, hostel, clubs, stationery, laptop etc. There are 2 financial aids one is for people who get through achievers round and other for people whose family income is less than 8lac per annum. We get internship from campus and we have to do it for 2 months with stipend ranging between 50k to 3lac for 2 months.

- Campus is situated in a hill top which gives a breathtaking view of the valley.
- Infrastructure is modern and aesthetically sound.

In year 2024 there is no fees hike as such but cost to study is bit expensive when compared to baby IIMs which the college compensate by providing state-of-the-art finance labs along with the endearing social life. G.I.M. Scholarship: "Access" is being given to 45 student of around 5 lakh Financial Waiver : It is given to 5 % of students who are admitted here and has family income less than 8 lakh.

The fees structure is usually on a higher range. The college also gives various scholorships and also tution fee waiver which helps the students financially. GIM has diverse brand of companies from various sectors.

- The campus is amazing. It’s widespread across more than 50 acres and has all amenities available.
- There are all sorts of sports facilities such as football court, gym, swimming pool, tennis court, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, cricket pitch and other indoor games.
Dislikes
- The distance from the city is quite a lot. Therefore, for the students to go to Goa or visit the beaches, it is a long drive.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The approximate fees for the entire course comes up to 21 lakhs. Then there are other personal expenses. There are certain academic scholarships available for high scorers. There is also a tuition fee waiver for the EWS.

Financial assistance through education loans is readily available, and on-campus jobs like library assistant offer stipends to ease the burden. I worked as a research assistant, gaining valuable experience while contributing to faculty research. Remember, the investment in GIM goes beyond fees. The network, skills, and career prospects make it well worth it!

- Campus and campus life, various events happen throughout the year.
Dislikes
- Relative grading can make people really competitive and at times you might feel left alone
- The mess food sometimes, there are days when all the good dishes are made together and some days when you need to go to the pay and eat canteen

the fees roughly 21 lakhs inclusive of hostel are almost the same across various b schools in the country. There are various scholarships available and it has been mentioned in detail on the college website.

- Inrastructure is good, the classrooms are well equipped and offer a comfortable learning experience.

- There are no attached washrooms in the hostel rooms
- The weather is either very hot (It is GOA, ofcourse it is) or it rains heavily

- One of the things I liked is the diversity of students maintained. There are students from different backgrounds, with different undergraduations, freshers as well as having some work experience
- Another thing I liked is the amenities available in the campus like swimming pool, badminton court, gym, etc.
Dislikes
- Sometimes there are issues with certain committees and clubs which are not handled in a proper way. This can be improved.
- The taste of the food is not up to the mark.

The fees are in accordance with all other private B-schools. The hostel fees are decent compared to other colleges. They also have separate options for AC rooms with attached baths. The college provides scholarships for students falling in the top 10% of the batch academically.

GIM is definitely better for Marketing specialization due to factors like location, small batch size, and past records.
Here are the salary highlights of 2021 for Marketing -

Also, GIM alumni can be found in top marketing companies across the globe.

Which is better between PGDM (B&FS) at IMI Delhi and PGDM at Goa Institute of Management?
IMI Delhi's B&FS program is an industry-oriented finance program which has Financial Markets & Services, Wealth Management, Bank Management, Business Analytics, Treasury Management etc, as its subjects. Students also get to participate in 'live projects' to familiarise themselves with corporate work besides the summer internships.
On the other hand, GIM's PGDM program is its flagship program which has NBA and AMBA accreditations.

Faculty:Both institutes have an excellent faculty of 7-10 faculty members with PhDs and accolades from Wharton Business School, IIM, Smith School of Business etc.

IMI Delhi
- It has the WML Library with more than 25,660 books; it also has the RPG Auditorium and more than 30 academic and cultural clubs. The Jaagriti Social Cell is one such popular social service organization.
- The institute also has international collaborations with Kedge School of Business, France; The Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Suleman Dawood School of Business, Lahore, Pakistan etc , amongst others.
GIM
- It has a good IT Infrastructure with servers from IBM and HP.
- GIM has a fully WiFi campus with a Finance Lab in it with 10 terminals of Thomson Reuters.
Placements
GIM
- PGDM program has had a 100% rate in 2019.
- 39% of its students joined the BFSI sector and the lowest 3% went into Automobiles and Real Estate. GIM saw a 32% increase in PPOs.
- The highest CTC in 2019 was given to the Marketing students, which was 34 LPA.
- The highest salary given to HR students was the lowest in comparison to other fields, which was 16 LPA.
- The top recruiters were VIP, Tata Capital, Ignify etc.
IMI Delhi
- PGDM B&FS program saw a 25% rise in the highest package offered in 2019.
- 102 new recruiters participated in the placement proceedings with B&FS students receiving 17 LPA as its highest CTC.
- Darashaw, HDFC Bank, HSBC and Verity Knowledge Solutions were the major recruiters.
Students can decide on the basis of placement and infrastructure facilities listed above.
Among PGDM-FS from K J Somaiya, GIM PGDM, and SIIB, what should I choose?
For a PGDM FS, KJ Somaiya is the best option among these. The institute has a locational advantage since it is situated at the financial hub of the country, i.e. Mumbai. KJ Somaiya placements are great. According to the 2022 interim placement report, the average CTC offered to the students was INR 10.25 LPA, while the highest CTC offered was INR 26.50 LPA.
Between GIM and SIIB, the letter offers better industrial relations and better job roles in campus placements.
