Such candidates need to appear for GIM Goa personal Assessment in two stages i.e Achiever’s Round and Regular Round. Candidates qualifying achiever’s round are offered spot admission, whereas for candidates appearing in the regular round a merit list is prepared. The final Admission offer is released as per the merit list.
Goa Institute of Management Cutoff Highlights
- Goa Institute of Management invites Academic toppers from a selected institution to the Achievers round as ELITE applications. Such candidates can appear for the interview process, after verifying their eligibility (alma mater and status as topper).
- Candidates for PGDM (BDA) will need to take an online aptitude test called GAAT (GIM Analytics Aptitude Test).
- For PGDM Admission, Goa Institute of Management offers a relaxation of 15 points on the overall cutoff. However, no further relaxation is provided in the other components of the PGDM Admission process.
- For Admission to the GIM Goa PGDM HCM program, candidates do not need to satisfy the minimum cutoff, admission is based on the overall profile of the candidate.

Goa Institute of Management PGDM Admission 2024 Criteria:
For PGDM, a select group of candidates shall be invited to Goa for Achiever's Round of the interview process in January. Regular Round interviews will be held in early March.
Stage 1A: Shortlisting For Achiever's Round
- Interviews shall be held only in Goa and shortlisted candidates shall be eligible to apply for scholarships.
- Candidates not shortlisted for Achiever's Round will not be eligible for scholarships. If a candidate shortlisted for Achiever's Round decides to opt out of Achiever's Round and attends Regular Round, the candidate will not be eligible for scholarship.
- Shortlisting shall be based on curricular, extracurricular, and career achievements and profile -qualification, past academic performance, and work experience of the candidates.
- The shortlist shall be drawn without XAT, CAT, GMAT score to facilitate interview process in January. Scores shall be incorporated later on.

- Final Interview Round at GIM will be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai (All centres are subject to availability)
- Final Admission offer at GIM Goa will be based on entrance exam scores, past academic performance, objective assessment, work experience, face to face evaluation among other parameters.
- Result of the selected candidates shall be released in April.

- The campus is very beautiful. It is nestled on top of a hill with lush greenery all around.

- Certain faculties are new and inexperienced.
Admission:
I had given the CAT examination and scored 95.36 percentile. There is no sectional cutoff for this college. 80 is the cutoff for cat. The details about the application form, fees and application dates can be easily found on the GIM college website. The admission process was very smooth and it was conducted without any confusion. My interview was in the afternoon slot and the interview lasted for about 15 minutes.

- This place is far from the main city so to get anything we have to travel sorm kms
Admission:
I prepared for 2 months and took the cat exam in November 2022 and I took admission in 2023 and the cutoff was 87 percentile but I got through the achievers round so the cutoff was 80 percentile. The application process was all present on the GIM website. I filled out the form in October then gave CAT in November and then in January process started first we had WAT then a recorded interview and then the final interview and I got through achievers round and secured a spot offer.

The eligibility to GIM is based of CAT/XAT/GMAT Scores and the cutoff usually lies in the range of 85-90 percentile and its also profile based calls. The admission process consisted of WAT round and post that an interview round which went on for around 15-20 minutes. The application form can be found in GIM official website. The application fees ranges from around 2500-4500 and the applications will be open usually till mid of january. The results of the interview process will be usually released in the end of march or first week of april.

- The campus is amazing. It’s widespread across more than 50 acres and has all amenities available.
- There are all sorts of sports facilities such as football court, gym, swimming pool, tennis court, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, cricket pitch and other indoor games.
Dislikes
- The distance from the city is quite a lot. Therefore, for the students to go to Goa or visit the beaches, it is a long drive.
Admission:
The admission process requires CAT XAT or GMAT scores. With atleast 50% marks in bachelors. On being shortlisted, the aspirants are supposed to go theough the Group Discussion and Personal Interview Rounds. After all this, and based on the profile, shortlist is released.

- The mess food sometimes, there are days when all the good dishes are made together and some days when you need to go to the pay and eat canteen

The eligibility for me was based on CAT score. Apart from CAT score scores of CMAT, XAT are also taken into consideration for admission in Goa Institute of Management.
I came to know about the institute while browsing through internet for various options available with the CAT score that I got.
The admission process consisted of exam which is only required for applying for big data analytics and followed by personal interview.

In my opinion, the selection process is rigourous enough, I was asked only relevant questions and tasks to do throughout. It sufficiently checked my academic rigor and general awareness along with basic communiaction skills. Only thing that i think can be improved is communication from the side of the college, after the interview you are left clueless for a very long time. Otherwise, it is designed well.
