Interview Experience

4

GIM's selection process culminated in two pivotal stages: the Written Ability Test (WAT) and the Personal Interview (PI). WAT was conducted online testing my critical thinking and writing skills under time pressure. demonstrating my ability to analyze and articulate complex issues. The PI saw me face a two-member panel, one meticulously evaluating my academic foundations and general knowledge, while the other probed my grasp of current affairs. By consistently staying abreast of current events, I further equipped myself to engage in a nuanced and informed dialogue with the panel. Ultimately, I believe my proactive preparation and adept performance in both the WAT and PI contributed significantly to my successful application to GIM.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good and faculties are also very qualified. I choose BDA because of its value in the market and my interest area. BDA of GIM is even beating it's flagship course in terms of placements. But the thing is you have to come prepared before coming to B-School. In term-1, there will be basic subjects only but companies coming for summer internship will expect more from you. So, my advice would be to invest the time students get in between admission in B-School and joining the B-School in improving their skills sets.

There has been not proper placement over the years which should be given priority and introduction of new companies for placement should be brought.
