The purpose of choosing Statistics has been fulfilled. All the professors study in such a way that everything is understood. This college is good in studies and writing. No matter how much I praise, there is very little about this college.

Patna Science College Legacy discontinues!

The thing that I like the most about Patna Science College(PSC) is the environment and the surrounding of the college. PSC is surroumded by a numerous trees giving it a very greenery and fresh look.
The majority of students in PSC are students from Bihar itself. The fact about Bihari students is that they are not only intelligent in studying but also they are very good in cocurricular activities .

Dislikes

Day by day PSC is deteriorating in all terms which make a college a perfect one.
The condition of hostels is not up to the mark. I myself have been in Faraday hostel for 3 three years and have witnessed poor infrastructure and less availability of basic requirements of a hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course the I choose was Bsc. in Statistics. From childhood I am interested in solving mathemical problems so I choose Statistics. Their a huge application of Statistics in Data Science which is a hot point nowadays. After doing Msc. in statistics from a prolific college good number of job opportunities are available. Modern gadgets should be installed in all departments which can improve in visualisation giving students modern approach of learning. My seesion is the last session in which exams are held once in a year. Now the exams are held semester wise which is good.

Likes

Our college principal and faculties are cooperative.
In our college our classroom and building are old but very clean.

Dislikes

Somewhere college politics student who meet in croud and screaming.
Every year of college elections our classes are not conducted in proper way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosen this subject because I want to become an ISI. There are 6 to7 faculties and 60 students. All faculties are phD completed and they teach us like as a friendly person. They express very well. Our all exam are on time and are done well. Questions are easy to solve.

Lush green campus and huge ground and nearness to ganga river
Fees of this college and hostel is very less

Dislikes

There are no internship opportunity provided by the college
The guest faculty members are not up to the mark

I chose statistics as my honors subject because it is a very interesting subject and has great importance in today's world and job market. The faculty-student ratio is quite good, we have 6 teachers and our total capacity is 50 students. The qualification of the faculty is quite good all of them have completed their phd from iits,nits, etc.

There is no lab facilities for the students.
Proper classrooms are not available for the students

I choose for bsc statistics because it has many scopes in future like in stock markets and in the field of data science and so on. Teachers are well-qualified. Exam are also conducted on time and only min 33% marks are required to pass the exam.
