Likes

The classroom has projectors, a smart board, fans, well lighting, and good ventilation.
I-am doing mechcanical engineering and have a best and qualified faculty.
The schemes are provided by the college office and they also help to choose the perfect scheme.

Dislikes

Hostel Mess Food is not good compare to Out side mess
The placements are not too good either .
Collage capus is very big and they dont allow you to get a bike inside a collage.

My review of SIOM

Likes

Placements are really great hence one can expect a good job
Teaching methodology is really good to industry standards
You get to meet good intellect people hence increasing your intelligence

Dislikes

At the end it is a private college so amenities are less
College isn't much big in campus size so not much to explore
It is also a bit far from the city hence not a really good choice

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I am doing MBA so my further aspirations are to get a good job further with a higher package. The curriculum prepares a person to quite a good level to the industry standards which helps a lot really. College still uses the traditional way of teaching hence can improve on that

Likes

There is lot of exposure in college. Outside of students the college also provides extracurricular activities.
The campus is pretty big and has got lot of Greenery. This keeps the vibe fresh. The campus is also big.
The college provides decent placements. And it also has placements training program for students.

Dislikes

The hostel food. The quality of food is not acceptable. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it is bad.
The long college hours and assignments. There are a lots of assignments throughout the semester.
The classrooms can be better.The projecters and all could be better.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem the students are eligible for college placements. The college provides decent placements and the record is also pretty decent. The eligible students get placement based on there skills.

Likes

Campus is very beautiful you will love it
Things like ragging doesn't exist in this college
Teachers are very very good and beautiful

Dislikes

Syllabus is not completing in time in every semester
Some teachers are boaring while teaching you will sleep in the class
Projectors are not good sometimes not understand anything

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is very interesting course. Iam interested in this course. It is very easy to understand. There are two semesters in a year. All the facilities of our college is teaching well and understanding of the students are top of the bottom. Timing of the exam is around three hours. Extending time is not available.

Eventful College, Sinhgad

The best thing about college is the experienced professors and the regularity of classes which is very good to have as an experience.
Taking admission in Pune for engineering and want a campus life, then this is the best college.
Infrastructure is quite large as every branch has uts own separate building with separate floors for each year.

Dislikes

The ratio of placements to that of the admission is poor.
The increase in local goons in the campus deteriorates the environment of the campus.
Not much exposure to sports organised by the department or college.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit in placements from the end of 6th semester. The main criteria for shortlist in most companies is no backlogs and more than 70% in 10th and 12th and some have relaxation upto 60%. Highest can go upto 13-18 lpa on campus and the minimum could be anywhere between 2 to 3 lpa.There are many opportunities right from the end of 6th semester but the students at that time are not prepared and few get specifically prepared and they grab the best of offers

Sinhagad college of engineering the hype

Likes

The college campus is quite big and impressive.There are many cafes available in the campus as per student curiosity.
There are evening programs organised for student by all the senior students . Even the boys and girls ratio is good the ratio of boys is to girls is 70:30 , which is far better than other colleges .
The college organises many Fest regularly, the best thing is that the college organise Fest for specific departments like tech Fest and other .

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is quite old , the classroom’s interiors are very old type .
The college is full of Marathi students , which is a very big problem for other state candidates because they feel difficulty to interact .
The hostel food and rooms are quite bad there are many cases of robbery in the hostel .

Placement Experience:

The students are available from the starting of the forth year the main companies visited is cognizant and Accenture . The highest package in 2024 till now is 24 lakhs. The average package of this college is 4.5 lakhs p.a. . Till now the placement percentage is 70% and ongoing. My plans is to get master degree from other countries .

College with huge campus

Likes

The campus of this college is very huge as compared to other colleges in pune
College arranges various activities and events continuously.
Placements are good as compared to other tier 2 colleges in oune

Dislikes

Faculty is good but not much better to gain a lot of knowledge
The infrastructure is good but need reconstruction

The course I've chosen is information technology which is quite good course to pursue as an engineer. As we know the current situation in market the need of skilled software engineers is increasing keeping that in mind this course have very opportunities in future that's why I opted this course.

Availability of medical help, free check up at collage clinics
In campus availablity of bank, milk parlour, dairy parlour,laundary
Free dental checkup, huge parking slots and library,greeny areas of campus

Because of huge campus you have to walk alto...
Because of huge area it take lots of efforts to find teachers and labs

I am not that person who choose curriculum influence to make me take course. Curriculum are important like it teach you how to interact with different people, how get team work, how things works. It aslo improve your communication skills and improve you're stage daring. Timing of curriculum activity are in before your exams at that time of exam they give you time period for studying.

Teachers are so kind at the same time strict also. Every teacher are good in there subject.
Campus is huge. Everyone do their work. There is no ragging in campus. It ban in campus.
They are taking lots of festivals, dancing, singing, group, solo, and poetry competitions, also taking ramp walks.

Dislikes

Because of huge area of campus you have to walk lot. It may taking lot of time.
Hostel in time for girls is 9 at night. You can't be late if you late you have to pay fees for that
Sometimes I lost my classrooms, or lab because of huge area.

There is lots of program's for students curriculum activity. I am not that person who choose curriculum that influenced to take addmission to course. In curriculum activity you get lots of experience, you can know how to interact with different people, how get knowledge how team get work...that helps you in your future life like in jobs, startups

Well developed and maintained laboratories
Good on campus placement and also internship opportunities in 3rd year
Good staff guide for everything also helps in scholarships, inter college competitions and other activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

For first 2 years curriculum is very well designed to understand basics but 3rd n 4th years curriculum is with old technologies most of which are irrelevant. Curriculum does not prepare at all for real world application we have to do internships to learn that.

Loved the weather at the city it's very charming and calm
Loved the enviornment and the crowd is ok only
it's good to be around the campus, college is just fine

Dislikes

the faculty is not good. Keeps giving unnecessary work
There's nothing I didn't like, it's fine I mean ok
