Ramdeobaba University (RBU), earlier known as Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), was started in 1984 by the Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti. From the 2024–25 academic session, it officially became a university. It is approved by AICTE and accredited with an “A+” grade by NAAC. sports and events happen regularly without affecting the academic calendar
facilities like acs labs wifi through out the campus

Dislikes

proper services should be provided like printer and others, shops are always closed in campus

Ramdeobaba college is most preferal college in range of tier 3 college in nagpur in comparison to facilities , education and most important placement . the admission here are taken through mhtcet exams or rubee exam help by college. it has both cet and management quota

Likes

Fests are good because they bring up really good singers.
There are several committees in campus you can join for fun and to learn.

Dislikes

Area in which campus is located in too small in the perspective of college.
Attendance is the issue you need to keep 75 percent.
Sports facilities are not that good . You will find only football ground and basket ball ground.

Admission:

I wanted to stay in Nagpur so in vidarbha if there is college you should be admitted other than vnit there is only an option which is rcoem. Cutoff for cse is around 97 percentile. You need appear for competition exams for admission process first.

Transport facility is not available in the college students have to come in the college in there own way

I did not applied other colleges The admission process to the college will be after 12 MHT CET for first year engineering and for direct second year engineering diploma based through cap round. Eligibility criteria to score above 90 to 95 to get the college

There were different colleges also I am selected like ycce nagpur,dy Patil akurdi and I take admission here there were different reason like it is near to my House and has the best faculty and placement were also very good the addmission process of this college are like you have to give exam like mhtcet,jee mains on this basis you get addmission here for mhtcet the cutoff rank for cse is 85%ile and for jee mains the cutoff would be around 80%ile my overall addmission experience is very hustle free and there is not that hard to get admission process done

Well organised classrooms with 60 students per class.
Good and New computers in computer lab with latest gen specs.

Dislikes

Campus is quite smaller for 4000 students
TOO MUCH overcrowded, 1200 students are just for CSE

I choose this college cause i wanted to stay in Nagpur only for that reason i choose this as this is the best college in Nagpur after VNIT AND IIIT Nagpur, and i didn't opted for any other college as my %ile were not that well

The campus is really beautiful it is surrounded by trees and always gives a positive vibes whenever we enter the campus. The infrastructure is great it includes library, different departments, gym, canteen, hostel and mess. A peaceful place to study.

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike about the campus is the code of conduct which includes a strict dress code for girls in the campus from not wearing sleevless top to short dress nothing is allowed inside the campus. And you need to follow that strictly daily

Admissions are offered in B.E, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. degree programs. Applications for admissions for B.E, M.Tech, MBA and MCA are accepted through State CET Cell. While admission applications for Ph.D. are accepted through RTMNU.BE is based on JEE Mains or MHT-CET. Students must also have at least 50% in either HSSC (PCM) or Diploma or equivalent from a recognized board. All eligible students can appear for both the entrances other than students from Maharashtra, who can appear only for MHT-CET.MBA admissions can be offered based on MAH-CET or CMAT or CAT. For M.Tech admissions, students are eligible only if they qualify GATE . For Ph.D. admissions, students will be considered eligible only if they qualify either MU-PET/GATE/SET/UGC-NET/JRF. If students are UGC-NET qualified then they are exempted from appearing for MU-PET.

RCOEM Nagpur BE admission 2024 is done through the MHT CET exam. The tentative MHT CET dates 2024 have been announced. The online application form will be released in March 2024. The MHT CET 2024 exam is to be held from April 16 to May 2, 2024.
