Dislikes
- Area in which campus is located in too small in the perspective of college.
- Sports facilities are not that good . You will find only football ground and basket ball ground.
- Attendance is the issue you need to keep 75 percent.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took this course because of my parents and everyone were saying you scored really well in cet so go for cse . That's why I took this course. As usual curriculum is old and longitudinal. So you can't expect something to happen miraculously. Work hard and achieve whatever you want in life by yourself. Exams are moderate.
Placement Experience
Placement is pretty average here . But you can try of campus. In today's time it has gone so much. 35-40 people score very high package . Cse doesn't face placement issues generally compared to other branches. I don't what I am gonna do after graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
Rcoem fees was about 180000 before become open university. Now it has been increased to 280000 for cse. Other branches have other fees . I will be paying around 180000 per year . There is nothing category benefits in this college as it minority college. There are some scholarship available for student even in hostel too. Punjabrao deshmukh is one such scholarship name.Rcoem is located in Nagpur. It is one of the most prestigious college of vidharbha.
Campus Life
Out annual event name is pratishruti. It held in the month of February. Library is quite advanced you will find most of the books.classrooms are advanced you will never faced any difficulty. Sports and extracurricular activities are average to good. You can join various clubs in college.
Admission
I wanted to stay in Nagpur so in vidarbha if there is college you should be admitted other than vnit there is only an option which is rcoem. Cutoff for cse is around 97 percentile. You need appear for competition exams for admission process first.
Faculty
I am currently studying btech cse in rcoem. Count of faculty seems to be low these days . But I am bit satisfied from it. College exams are divided into 2 uts of marks of 20 marks and then end sem of 50 marks also we have two TA of 5 marks. In total it make to 100.
Night Life
Climbing rcoem ladder you will find cafe just outside college . Inside college there is cafe in canteen. our college also has gym.campus timing is generally 9-6. Hostel is strict . There is no such places for hangout in colleges .
