SATI vidisha overview

Likes

The college is more likely to be affordable for the students as compared to other government or private colleges.
There are many experienced faculties and the seniors too are very cooperative.

Dislikes

As there are many experienced faculties, there are more faculties which are inexperienced or lacks the knowledge of the field or topics they are teaching and they lacks student interactions.
The infrastructure is very old (as it is of 1960's).

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned before the course curriculum and syllabus is outdated and theory based like many government with less emphasis on the latest trends and practical aspects of technology and engineering.

Good college average infrastructure

Likes

The faculties were very engaging and helpful.
There were many clubs in college that encouraged extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

Infrastructure was quite old so didn’t liked that.
Classroom teachings can be improved more efficiently.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students gets into placements, many companies came overall it depends on your skills if you will get placed or not around 60-70% people get placed average package is around 4 lpa , highest goes upto 7.5.

Collage life

Likes

The environment of my college is good. The faculty here is experienced and knowledgeable. They work well and every student is also good. I like going to college.
My college is good but placements of children are less because here companies do not create many widgets and there is not much coding culture in the college.

Dislikes

Collage placement good but not more good very less student are selected
Very less company are visit in mh collage but in this year company visited and students are selected

The course curriculum is good, all subjects are taught on time and are studied well. There is also an opportunity of improvement in the course. Students work very hard and everyone studies with full attention.

The Struggling SATI

I like the Attendence structure as there is no strict attendence in the college

Dislikes

Most of the things in the college is dislikable only as there is not much exposure in the college barely any events occur and organized by the college
The college staff is very arrogant and full of attitude just like in any other government offices

Placement Experience:

from the 5th semester the students get eligible for campus placements Yash Technologies offered 6lpa, rapidops offered 5.6 lpa in the year 2025, and others there were sales companies which just offered the basic 3.4 lpa every 5 out of 100 student will get placed here for sure I am right not applying off campus in other companies as my college was not that proficient in getting us the college placements

The overall view of the campus is good ..
The location of college is very good because this is located at the centre of the city..

Dislikes

The management of the college is quite slow ..
Hostels are quite old and have boring apperance..

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester you are eligible for the placement you can apply for the placement. Many companies are visiting in 2023-24 which includes TCS , argusoft,tech Mahindra, Google,and many more companies providing placement drive. In that year around 250 placements are provided. The highest package is provided is 16 lpa in this year, and average package is 4 lpa. About 50 % students are placed . Firstly I want to get job after completing the degree..

Review of a underrated college in heart of India

Likes

Remarks I choose this college as its convenient for travel and this college have good teaching staff, teacher of the are so supportive and helping nature
I liked the hostels most when i came here in my first year i got my hostel for living

Dislikes

The worst experience i had in this college was with our seniors due to them our hostel group distributed into two groups
The clubs in this college are run by seniors they do their own things, everything is happened by thier decisions

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always had an interest in computer science and I always wanted to do science-related things computers influenced me to make my decision to do engineering and that's all worth it. In this college, exams happen after every semester midterms are also conducted for students' awareness towards courses. The difficulty level of exams is not that hard, exam papers are always made by seeing students' perspectives and they are always student-friendly.

MY EXPERIENCE AT SATI

Likes

The faculty in the college has a supporting culture, if you to them with some idea that you want to work on you wont go empty handed.
The campus area is really open with a lot of greenry and lots of space to roam around.

Dislikes

In the last many years the college has not upgraded the infrastrutre, it still uses the same buildings and hostels built in 80s. The hostel capacity for boys is 200 for 1st year and 100 for 2nd 3rd and 4th combined which is never enough.
The college has a 10 to 6 culture where nobody shows up before 10 am and everybody leaves at 6 no library or lab access beyond this, the only esception to this is the sports facilty.

Placement Experience:

Here you become elligible for placements in your 7th semester. You are allowed to apply for on campus companies and sit in interviews from then onwards, There are multiple companies that that visit which are mentioned on the college website, each one have different requirements ranging from a handful to few dozen. Many times one has to go to bhopal to participate in the poll campus drive and compete with around a 1000 students for 20-30 seats as well. Usually the average package for a technical job role is around 4-5lpa, for sales it goes down to a minimum of 3.5lpa, the highest on campus placement that I have seen is about 10lpa, rest the higher ones are offcampus. I have seen a decent decline in the number of students placed in the last few years yet I would say It is more about lack of skills of the students oppurtunities are there and one has to just get skilled. My plan after the degree is to give GATE exam and go for higher studies.

The faculties of the civil engineering department is fantastic and knowledgeable and helpful.
I like the cultural clubs like dance club, singing club, management club etc.

Dislikes

I don't like the infrastructure of the college, there is not done proper maintenance.
I don't like the timing of sports complex it's to late to open.

The placements is not much good at campus level, the decent number of companies are comes for placement offers but the offers is too low, for civil engineering department only 2-3 companies comes and the highest package for civil is around 3-4 lakhs. Only CS department gives decent number of placements the highest offer of last year is 12 lakhs.

Teaching method is very good and they help in guiding in many ways

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. 60 to 70 percent of students get placed every year. TCS, Accenture, etc. are the companies visited.

my experience with SATI

Likes

On the Frist impressed, really got impressed with college, it's geographical location very well planned structure. Natural environment
Its design, departments we'll planned, and easy to reach because of nearby railway and bus.

Dislikes

It also includes assignment writting work too much,which I don't think so is important.

Placement Experience:

Fourth year (seventh- eighth semester students) become elegible for campus placement, Many Companies visits like TCS, MICROSOFT,HP etc and makes offer. Average package provided to student is 12lakhs. 20percent students getting placement. I will try for placement or otherwise will try offcampus.
