The counselling will be held on Sept 9, 2025, and if seats remain vacant, additional counselling will be conducted on Sept 15, 2025. Check schedule.
SATI Vidisha offers undergraduate and postgraduate which lead to two primary degrees: B.Tech and M.Tech. The institute offers a B.Tech program in ten specializations. Admission to the B.Tech program is through the JEE Mains followed by counselling. For 2024, the JEE Mains cutoff rank for the general category ranged from 209423 to 1380610. The average tuition fee for the complete B.Tech program is INR 3,49,600.
Besides the B.Tech, SATI Vidisha offers an M.Tech program in five specialisations. Admission to the M.Tech program is through the GATE exam. The M.Tech program at IIT Bhilai has a total fee of around INR 1,70,800.
SATI Vidisha B.E. Admission 2025
The Bachelor of Engineering program is offered full-time by the institute in ten specialisations. The admissions are conducted by DTE, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. SATI issues a merit list based on marks secured by the candidate in JEE Mains, conducted by CBSE, followed by a counselling round.

SATI requires candidates to have qualified JEE and PET examinations to be eligible for the admission process to the B.E. program. Based on the qualifying marks of the students, the university publishes a merit list and informs the students of counselling.
SATI Vidisha M.E/M.Tech Admission 2025
SATI offers Engineering & Technology Courses at the postgraduate level, spread across 4 semesters. For admission to M.E courses, candidates must appear and qualify for the GATE examination. Each of the courses has a capacity of 18 students.

Candidates are shortlisted for admission in the following two ways:
Direct Candidates:
Those who have qualified for GATE are eligible for admission to full-time Master’s courses for the non-sponsored category. If there are vacant seats and no candidates with a valid GATE score, admission will be done directly on a merit basis.
Sponsored Candidates:
Those who have under graduate degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture or any other degree holding equivalent value in the respective or relevant branches.
He/she must have full-time working experience of 2 years in a reputed firm/company/industry/educational & research institutions/any Govt.. department or Govt autonomous organisations in any related field in which he/she is seeking admission.
SATI Vidisha MCA/M.Sc/MBA Admission 2025
- The institute offers postgraduate courses in Applied Sciences of 2 years in duration.
- There is provision for lateral entry admission for the MCA (2-year) program. He/she will be starting the course in the second year.
- For applied science courses, candidates must hold a B.Sc degree (IT, CSE)/BCA with an average minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC). These candidates should also have studied Mathematics during senior secondary school or graduation.

The MBA students must maintain a valid MET score for the admission procedure. The intake for the program is 60 seats.
The M.Sc. courses in Applied Sciences require candidates to have studied the relevant subject as a compulsory subject during graduation. The intake of the program is 25 seats.
SATI Vidisha Application Process 2025
The institute publishes a merit list and then, schedules Group Discussions and Personal Interviews for the selected candidates. The GD and PI are conducted in different phases. Candidates are informed about the GD and PI through the means of registered post and e-mail.
Some programs do not conduct GD as a part of their admission process. For such a program, the PI round will be the final selection round.
The candidates who are selected for GD and PI have the following factors in common:
- Excellent academic performance
- Content matter of the application form
- Professional experience, job role, and organisation type.
- Performance in Group Discussion & Interview performance, which is applicable for the final round of admission.
- Participation in extracurricular activities and other achievements.
- Valid score in competitive exams (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
For applying to post-graduate courses, candidates must fill in the application form online by visiting the official university website. Candidate can buy the application form and the information brochure by making a payment online of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 600/- for SC/ST candidates.
A combination of all the above factors is used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.

Candidate must submit his/her recent passport-size photographs along with the application form. Those students who are in their last year of graduation must submit their high school certificate along with an undertaking about submitting the grade cards and certificates for the degree course by August 31.

SATI Vidisha Scholarships
- The institute provides a scholarship to meritorious students belonging to reserved categories.
- Their 100% tuition fee is waived off.
- To Non-GATE candidates, Teaching Assistanceship or Rs. 7000/- P.M. may be provided if they perform well academically under TEQIP-II, which is also subject to the availability of funds. If he/she gets the scholarship, he/she should contribute 8-10 hours per week in the respective department for academic work.
