Mentorship is good here and professor is well experienced here some are new , the interaction with teacher is good .
There is a merit cum scholarship provided to students having a family income of less than 5 lakhs per year and who maintain greater than or equal to 6.5 cpi or above in 1st semester.
The most important thing i like of my college is its beauty.

Dislikes

Hostel life is good but outside college campus there is as such no happening life and inside hostel there is gym , commercial complex , football ground , basketball ground , and mess food quality is average not that good
I also don't like the faculty it is not very trained
No single room is in hostel for each year and college is in outskirts

I liked college infrastructure as the college is new it has very good infrastructure.
I liked college campus as it is very clean and green.
I think that the college gym is good and well equiped.

Dislikes

I didn't liked sports facilites available in college campus.
I didn't liked mess food it is very bad in campus.
I didn't like the location of college as it is very remotely located with poor connectivity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for tech branches still need to be improved as many important courses are not taught due to lack of faculties. The college still lacks necessary required labs for many branches which can give students hands on experience and make them industry ready. The exam occours timely as mentioned in academic calendar and are moderately difficult.

RGIPT expensive education , low placement support

Likes

faculty and mentorship , highly qualified faculty (phds , iit/forrign graduates) are approachable and helpful , mentor-mentee interaction
infrastructure and facilities , classromms are air conditionated
campus activities like kaltarang and urjostav etc

Dislikes

placements only for chemical and petroleum branches , no placements for tech branches
unworthy for fee , fee is very high yet students doesn't end up in MnCs for jobs or IIts for mtech

My department's faculty is literally the best they are knowledgeable and they know how to convey the knowledge too.

Dislikes

The placement. It is very low and not guaranteed.
Corruption is going on a lot these days. The management keeps doing stupid things to count for the funds sent by the government.
The attitude of some of the faculty members towards students. Some are good but most of them are so arrogant that students are afraid to get into arguments with them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching methods of the faculty is very good if I talk about petroleum department. Talking about the others, I've heard they are really very bad and a lot of them don't even know what they are teaching. According to me, the syllabus is very relevant to the real world applications and other examinations for further studies as well. We have mid sems about 1.5 months after starting of the semester and end sems after 1 month of it. It is suitable enough to prepare the syllabus.

Infrastructure is good in all terms, proper hostels with all facilities
sports facilities are good, events occur every month
Labs are well equipped and classrooms are well built too

Dislikes

Course is not defined properly , teaching is not good
Teachers only focus on the GATE , Govt job exams rather than the Job ready skills
Only focus on attendance not on the learnings

The Tech branches are new so placement is worse. Petroleum and Chemical branch is far better in terms of placement, PSUs come for them only. Tech Branches are shifted to Bangalore Campus for their final year, for batch 2021 they saw few companies highest was by PhonePe 24lpa. Now for my batch 2022 , we have still time till next year. few companies visited our campus highest was by Flipkart 33lpa.

Infrastructure that I liked. AC classrooms and Library. Mess is fantastic. Quantity of food is super as compared to IIITs/ IITs.
Ambience is good . Crowd is less. I was lucky to have good quality friends.
Attendance is relaxed , 60% also goes well. Some professor are very good like Vivek Singh Baghel and Kalka Dubey.

Dislikes

Less quality professors, course instructors themselves don't know what to teach as the branch is new.
Less faculties. Bad decision making by CSE department. No GPU infrastructure for LLMs. Current HoD is stupid S bishwas.
Petroleum and chemical professors have some jealousy for CSE department. Students coming RGIPT should only opt for chemical/ petroleum only for better future.

As of now , CSE graduating students are getting placed. Out of 120 , 35 are placed in companies like ZOMATO, PHONEPE , JP MORGAN, Zepto, WNS etc. 50% on campus , 50% off campus. Last year, all the CSE students will be in Bangalore centre of RGIPT for better placement offers. 3 years at jais campus and last year at Bangalore campus. Placements till now are not good. I want to enter to a good ai company . Placement percentage is low but package is good , all above 10 Lpa.

RGIPT : An underrated college

Our college has a tag of institute of national importance and it is counted along the line of iits, so the curriculum here is quite updated as compared to other state government colleges.
Infrastructure here is quite good and very well maintained even hostels here are well maintained if we compare it from other government colleges. There are two seater rooms in hostels .
Faculty here are also well qualified and are very easy to approach and interact. Students here also get a chance to do research work under them.

Dislikes

Our college is situated in a very remote and rural area so there is no place outside to chill.
Mess food is not up to the mark, sometimes it is good but again it becomes worse.
Transportation services are also an issue, we have to go rae barely or lucknow to buy stuffs because they are not available in local market.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Total fees of my branch in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology per year is around 329000 which includes tuition fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and other charges.

Complete RGIPT review.

Free Health centre and highly qualified Doctors and specialists.
Highly Qualified professors. Most completed their doctrate either from foreign universities or from IITs.
Fully furnished Classes and hostel rooms.

Dislikes

The gate pass system, every time you go out you need a gate pass as a fresher.
College at remote location, no outside maze.
Some playing grounds are not that good as expected.

Placement Experience:

For tech branches this college is a newbie but yes avg package of tech branches was 10 LPA and for non tech was 12 LPA with 100% placements. The time when IIT students are not getting placed this college is giving placements.

I liked the course structure of Mathematics and Computing Branch
This collage is very beautiful with a clean atmosphere
This collage provides me new opportunity to excel myself every months we get 2 to 3 big Opportunities to develop ourselves

Dislikes

It's very dominating in terms of Chemicals and Petroleum branches. Same priority must be given to technical branches too
Placement is mostly off campus for technical branches.
Hostel rooms needs to be cleaned by us only

Placement Experience:

The placement of RGIPT is really good in therms of Chemicals and Petroleum Branches but for Technical Branches like CSE and MnC we have to face a lot and even go for off campus placements. If you are having great skills you will land a good job but if you are only focused on the academic then there is a problem also 7.5 Grade is minimum to sit in placement interview for tech students if placement are there in the college itself. I have my plans of working in the financial department of companies.

Mess food is good. The items change every few months. Canteen is cheap.
Hostels are good . We have washing machine. Floor is cleaned everyday.
We have labs and instruments for each department.

Dislikes

Campus is small considering the strength of students.
Tech placements are not like other colleges.
College is in village area .There is no good market nearby college for buying things .

Placement Experience:

In my college most of the students from chemical and petroleum branch get placed . Since tech branches started few years ago, tech placements are less and have average of 9 lakh per annum. In chemical and petroleum branch highest package this year is 27 lakhs per annum and lowest 6 lakhs per annum. Almost 80 to 90 percent students get placed .

Likes

Well maintained classroom . they are good in size and spacious.
hostel room are very well maintained and cleaned regularly.
food is quite good as compared to others.

Dislikes

Library is very small for the number of students in the college.
too much restriction in timing for going out of the gate.
Fees is quite high for the facilities provided .

Placement Experience:

Placement for Chemical and petroleum branches are good but tech branches are very new in the college so number is not good. very few Comapanies visit for placements.But things will get better with time.This year Phonepe visited and gave quite descent offers. More to come this year lets see how the stat goes.
