Our course curriculum is good. We prepare for exams few days before it and clear it. Classes are taken in auditorium where almost 200 students sit which need to improved. We are taught subjects which are useful . Exams are taken on time and happen every 2 months. Most exams are moderate or easy.

In chemical and petroleum most of the companies that offer internship are government like ONGC, HPCL and they do not provide any stipend. Flipkart offers data analyst position in internship . CDSE offers intern in cyber security. JP Morgan offers internship in banking and financial services.

In my college most of the students from chemical and petroleum branch get placed . Since tech branches started few years ago, tech placements are less and have average of 9 lakh per annum. In chemical and petroleum branch highest package this year is 27 lakhs per annum and lowest 6 lakhs per annum. Almost 80 to 90 percent students get placed .

The year wise acedmic fees for btech is 128500.The mess fees is 20000. Sc,st,pwd have to pay 103500 as acedmic fees. The different scholarships available are nsp scholarship, up state scholarship,reliance sholarship,hdfc scholarship. College have its own merit cum scholarship of 50000 per year.

We have tech fest - Urjotsav , cultural fest -Kaltrang , Sports - Energia. These fest are held every year. There are many student chapter in our college like IEEE , FIPI, GFG . In library, all books related to course are available and we can issue them . All classrooms are big and have A.C. and projector in each class.

Each room is alloted to 2 students. In each room there are two fans . We can also bring our own fan. Each floor has a washing machine . Mess food is good and there are different items each day . Registration for hostel is done in hostel offfice after paying mess and hostel fees. There is only one hotel near college to stay . College has its own guest hostel and price is charged for it every day.

I choose this college over others as I was getting CSE branch and also it is goverment college. I applied for NITs,IITs and dtu, nsut. I didn't chose NIT raipur as I was getting lower branch in that college. I coudn't get IIT as my jee advance rank was little less. In my college admission is taken through jee advance and when seats are vacant they take admission through jee mains. 3-4 rounds of counselling takes place and in each round students are alloted different branch based on their jee rank.

In tech branches a teacher takes a class of approximately 120 students . When classes are taken in auditorium whole tech branches are there. Some of the teachers are supportive and help us . In one semester, there is one mid sem and one end sem. These exams are moderate and most of the students pass in exams.About 4-5 students fail in a subject in a class. Some students who fail in the subjects or have low attendence have to give the exams next year.

No gd was taken during admission.Admission is taken through jee advance and if seats are vacant admission is taken through jee mains. There are 3 round of counsellind and one spot round if seats remain vacant.

Girls and boys have separate gym with all equipments . There is one cafeteria near classroom and a night canteen starting from 10 pm. We can go out of college till 8 pm. If we have to far away places which takes more time we have to make gate pass and specify the reason.
