Being a normal degree college it does not offer any placement and internships to the students . We often have workshops on industry courses and on skill development too. Mostly students plan to go for their post graduation in my college and most of our college seniors have proven it so far .
The placements were as the normal one, but as I pursed the bachelor's degree, I got a recommendation to take admission to the master's program. Few students selected the company for a job from interview cell while mostly others decided to do an internship and then took the admission for higher students at the university.
The college organizes career counselling functions so that we could know about job opportunities. I also get enough idea about the competitive examinations and other career options which can enlighten my future ahead.
Our college has a career counselling cell to help students be future ready. They provide us with resources to prepare for further studies and competitive exams. They also help us in personality grooming and interview training, so that the students are ready to take part in job interviews.
The college doesn't provide any placements to the students but we can apply outside. We are trained well to face interviews and we were even taught extra skills and soft skills also to help us with our future prospects.
We didn't get any placement opportunities by the college. There isn't a placement cell for Arts field students. But we were trained by the faculty on how to appear for interviews and they guided us well.
The placements of the college were average. Our seniors were got good placements. Near about 80%of the students got placements in the reputated companies. The college offered internships for 2nd and 3rd year students by the college.
The placements and job offered by the top companies for the students of the college. Most of the companies visted there every year for the placements. The internships were of high level provided to the students with the stipend.
As per my experience about the placement at the institute, I saw very few chances for the students as the interviewers preferred experience both in academic criteria as well as the workplace. Also, some organization were ready to hire freshers as an intern but offered low package as the degree was of three years only.
GMSMM supports students and encourages them for competitive examination. In addition to that, they initiate numerous training and career counseling programs for students to give us a better idea regarding further career aspects.
