Remarks
The college was too big. The college also had a well-equipped library with a variety of books needed by the students. The college had a big sports ground for the students. The college also organised sports competitions like cricket, football etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
The BA mathematics syllabus for GMSSM college was different from the other colleges as well as modern also. The exams were held at respective examination centres rather than in the college itself. There were yearly examinations held in BA mathematics course and internal exams were also held in the college.
Placement Experience
The placements and job offered by the top companies for the students of the college. Most of the companies visted there every year for the placements. The internships were of high level provided to the students with the stipend.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee of my BA Mathematics was Rs. 1,383 for the first year which was quite feasible for most of the seections. The total fee was Rs. 4,150 which was quite low as compared to the other colleges of the nearby areas.
Campus Life
The students union organised Fresher's party to welcome the new students every year. Annual social function were also held in the college which was quite big cultural event of the college. The music department of the college organised birthday of Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi
Admission
The admission procedure was too different. The students got admission on the basis of the Intermediate examinations marks in the college. I got admission easily because I got 91% in the 12th board exams.
Faculty
The college had skilled as well as well-qualified teachers. Some of them were PhD holders while some of them were post graduates with more than 5-6 years of experiences in the particular subjects. They were quite helpful and kind towards the students.
