From the 5th-semester placement process starts. Famous companies which give double-digit offers are ZS, naggaro, Atlassian, Amazon, Microsoft. The highest package was Microsoft 42lpa. Amazon also hired 18 students with a package of 18 LPA. ZS associates hired 8 students with a package of 12 LPA. In our batch, everyone was placed, so there was 100% placement.

As you know it is not an IIT/NIT/IIIT , it is a private college in DELHI, so the placement scenerio is not that good in this college, average package is approx 6-8 lpa (ONLY FOR Computer Science related branch) that's it there is very less placement opportunity for other core branches students and as far as i know companies won't allow core bracnhes student to sit in CS/IT placements. yea a lot of companies visit here but most of the companies are mass recrutiers. Amazon visit here but won't offer much good package. so , the only way to get better placements is OFF CAMPUS PLACEMENTS. many of our seniors had made it through OFF CAMPUS PLACEMENTS in big tech giants like GOOGLE, LINKEDIN, AMAZON & MICROSOFT.

From the 6th semester end students can begin looking for companies and placements. They will have to go for internships beginning from their third year only in order to get a good profile made of theirs. Highest package goes upto 40lpa by Amazon and Microsoft for senior developers and almost 80% students get placed. My personal plan after this degree is to do a job.

I've no idea about college campus placements but our seniors say that our college is good for placements. in our college, a student got 1 crore 24 lakhs package last year and from my knowledge our college provides placement oppurinity to every student in our college

There is a very good placement opportunity if you have skills as compared to other colleges under IPU. Your percentage requirement may vary from 7 to 9. Depending upon the company. 70-80 companies visit your college with an average package of 5-6 lakh.

Placements are good for students who work hard, as far as I know, ample opportunities are available and faculty is also very supportive. ZS, TCS and many other companies come to Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology. AVG package here is around 7-8 LPA but highest package was around 30LPA.

Placement is average here but if u r a bright student u can get a good placement. Almost 80 companies visited here this year and this no keeps increasing every year i know this fact because i am in the placement cell of this college. The highest package someone has gotten here is 1.02 crores and the average package is 4-5 LPA here. Almost 70-80% of students get placed every year. After getting my degree if i get a good placement here then i will settle for it otherwise i will do masters

I chose Btech in Computer science because I learned c++ in class 12th that made me really confident in computer engineering. I loved making programs and decided to be a computer engineer. The faculty:student ratio is very high, about 70 students are taught by 1 teacher at a time. Some subjects felt really fun to learn while others were hard to grab at one go. Covid affected the studies a lot tho in the beginning. But later online studies made learning more fun. Online teaching is done using regular classes on MS teams. Teachers share their screens and share ppts or whiteboards to explain the concepts. Labs were taken in the same view and students were shared to check their progress and work during labs. Most of the faculty is highly knowledgeable while others try to restrict to syllabus. Exams are held from time to time and are really easy to pass in online mode as most exams are MCQ based.

Students are eligible for on-campus placements from the 6th semester. Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, ZS Associates, ION Trading visit the campus. The placement is very good and almost 90% of students get placed. The highest package here was 122 lac per annum as per 2019-20 and the average package here is 5-6 lac per annum.

From the 5th semester onwards you will start to get links for different interns and job activities, but that is not so good. In your 4th year, you will get a chance in some good companies. TCS and Accenture are 2 mass hiring companies from Mait that select more than 500 students nearly on campus. But most of them are from CSE and IT. Amazon also comes and hire 25-30 students. And some other well-reputed companies come in Mait like Sapients, ZS Associates, etc. The most common package is 4.5-6 lakhs per annum. But You will also get a chance to sit in the interview process of 10-15 lakh package companies. The maximum on-campus CTC is 31 Lakhs provided by amazon. The placement scenario for ME is not so good as there is not any core mechanical company come for hiring. After getting a degree one can do preparation for other higher study exams like Gate, Cat, etc.
