All faculties are very helpful , all faculties are gpsc qualified , also they are very strong in their academics, many faculties are pursuing their phd which shows their determination towards their work , they are very helpful.
Hear one of the best thing about college is it has very good placement facilities.the college has good track record with reputed companiesvisiting for campus recruiment,providing students with promising career opportunities.
Plus some examination fees and there are lots of opportunities for scholarships.

Dislikes

Our hostel is worst like hell, government college hostel have always lack of cleaning facility, lack of water supply, lack of space in rooms, there toilets are worst.
The faculty of engineering is very well graduated but they are teaching style is very boring.
There are no other thing that i dislike about the college

Full and fair

Likes

This is government college so their college fees is less so i can afford it.
There is hostel facility with less amount of fees.
The faculty was supportive and always help us.

Dislikes

College infrastructure was to old and required renovation
There is no placement guarantee. In our batch there only 50 % students gets placement.
College faculty should provide last semester internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum is good except 1st and 2nd semester. In this two-semester curriculum are not really related to the course. There is no real-world application or further academic pursuits in curriculum preparation.

LD college really a great college.

Likes

Campus, faculties,SSIP ,supportive environment, especially computer department is great
Campus faculties are good they recently organised a expert session from apple senior sde who taught us that DSA is important
SSIP provides support for startups so that you can grow your startup

Dislikes

Overall everything is good but some hostel infra can be improved
Lighting in night can be improved so we can walk around freely
Some of the faculty in general department are strict for attendance they should understand that this general subjects are not so important and we are preparing for ai

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered, placement coordinator are good .good companies comes. We get a chance to show case our talent.over all its good.i like but as I am in third year I have not explored much.so will update it later

my honest review for my dream study place

Likes

I like the campus environment because it is full of greenery
I like the college facilities because they are always kind to every student and always supportive
I like the college hostel facilities because they provide stay facilities for students from outside of the Ahmedabad and also provide special seat for pwd students

Dislikes

I don't like college area because it is fully high profile area and if i have to buy some local things than i have to travel far from the college area
I don't like college at the submission time period because there are so much rush during that time period
Sometimes there are water problems occurs in the whole college so it was quite difficult time for us

Placement Experience:

from ending of 6th semester and starting of the 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements, if I talk about it and computer files many companies like wipro , IBM , Accenture , Rtcamp , and many more companies are visited and around 70 to 75 % students get placed every year in computer and it fields.last year 5 students get package of 12LPA and 8 student get package of 8.5 to 9 LPA.personally I want to get placed in one of renown company with decent package after graduation

Placements are very good in our college especially for our branch as almost 90 % students gets placed.there are many companies like TCS, ACCENTURE, RELIANCE,ADANI,etc come to get students recruitment average package is 5-6 lpa and maximum is 14 lpa

About my college

Likes

L.D. College of engineering is Gujarat 's best government college of engineering. It provides good education and opportunities to students.
It provides very good environment and placement opportunities.

Dislikes

It has limited hostel addmission.There are too many students who are struggling to live in Ahmedabad.
Due to one of the old College of Gujarat, some buildings need to improve.
In hostel, they need to improve water supply. Recently we suffer lot for drinking water.

Placement Experience:

From the 6 sem of 3rd year of their study of Engineering, companies are starting to take visit at college for campus selection. As in computer department the highest package in campus selection is May be 28 LPA. And average is 5-6 LPA which is quite good. Although your acadmics matter, it also depends on your skills for job.

Likes

Faculties are very supportive and helping
Arrangements of various webinars and industrial experts talks frequently.
Campus is huge and library facilities is top notch.

Dislikes

Needs renovation in Classes and in some labs as well
Organized merely zero tech fest in past few years.
Library is nice but currently it contains only acedmic books

Placement Experience:

In last semester students became eligible for applying in campus placements. Almost 90% of placement is guaranteed. Recruiter from many MNC are come to hire eligible students. After I will get my degree my plan is to find campus placements within college.

LD College | Place to Achieve Your Dreams | Best Learning Place

Likes

I liked the atmosphere and culture of LD college , it is very much competitive, and also students of LD are building their skills
I also liked the faculty support in computer department
I also liked the placement support in computer department

Dislikes

I believe in continuous evaluation , which is not provided yet in LD
Sometimes I feel that there are very less facilities provided by the college
Needs improvement in terms of infrastructure

Placement Experience:

In Final Year , students can apply for opportunities at companies , even the placement cell of LD College will also guide the students for the same, students can participate in many competitive coding competitions where students can show their skills and for that LD has many clubs which takes care of these things High number of students get placed in LD , this time (in year 2024) Above 700 students were placed.

Likes

Thing I like is the cooperative faculties.
The quality of teaching methods and the differnt clubs.
Paper level is too much good and good for all students .

Dislikes

There are not so much sports activities .
Paper checking is rough and tough and not good for students.
Infrastructure wise bit old college and rusty

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is not too much good for real world based scenarios as ut too much focus on theory rather than practical knowledge. The time interval during exams are also too much which waste our extra time.

Likes

Clubs, social gatherings, functions, supporting faculties.
Sports, grounds, food, too much diversity.
Other state students, other country students.

Dislikes

Language barrier between students Gujarati and other language.
Campus being old so it needs renovatio.
Benches are too old and not that much comfortable.

Placement Experience:

LDCE gives best placements. In IT COURSE and COMPUTER engineering course there is almost all students get placement. Machanical and chamical is also good placement ratio. But in core branch there are less chances to get placement easily.

Likes

college fees is very much low. every student can afford
there is no any type of attendance issues
many clubs are present for the students with their different interests

Dislikes

students are not attending the most of the lectures
in first sem, a CE student also need to learn about mechanical engineering
in second sem, a CE student learns about civil engineering and that is useless

Placement Experience:

college placements are 100% The average package offered for computer engineering students is around 6 lpa and the highest is 2 lpa companies like TCS and many more.. many of the intelligent students get 2-3 packages
