Also there is mahatma gandhi scholarship for thise are excelled in academics.
The teaching is very good and the teachers are very friendly

mess food is not that good if we see it in the aspect of price-value ratio

The infrastructure is on of the best in tamil nadu
The professors are very skilled and supportive
The crowd in the college is very well behaved

Dislikes

It has a very big campus so walking around could be tough
Classes are very frequent and free hours are rare
The curriculum is somewhat tough to score marks

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester placement will be starting and the placement facilities are very good the it placements and excellent and the core placements are also very good 80 percent of students who applied for placements are getting placed

Likes

Atmosphere of the college is very nice .
Most of the faculties working are very kind to students
College with best infrastructure in coimbatore region

Dislikes

Attendance rules are strictly maintained
College is very much huge so you have to walk a lot
There is no more negatives about the college I think

Placement Experience:

Most of the students studying in our college got placed and get internship. Core students get low percent of placements compared to it cse and aids students. our college placement records are quite high.

Kumaraguru college of technology a review from the student

Placement Experience:

The students in the 3rd year who are in 6th sek get eligible for placement . Even if you were not able to get placed , the value of Kumaraguru Institutions have a worthy name in the industry and students usually get placed .

I loved the subjects and experience based learning. The projects are also great. They are very creative and some of them are field based which gives us good exposure and hands on problem solving experience which is great. The student forum is good.
The peer learning experience was good and interactive
Technology based learning was encouraged

Dislikes

Placements were not great as promised. The package was less.
The placements were mostly for sales postion and very less positions available for good posts

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 3rd semester. A lot of banks like Federal , CUB came in for placements but only for sales positions. Most of the companies came in for sales and traine postions with an average package of 4-5 LPA

AN OVERVIEW OF KCT

The mechanical department staffs were really knowledgeable and helpful. Most of the staffs were dedicated and had a helping mentality. they were aways enthusiastic to help us with our academic and any other issues.
the ambiance of the campus is really nice with all necessary facilities that were maintained well and renovated whenever needed. there are a lot of trees and hence a fresh environment through out the campus
there are a vast number of clubs and forums that are very active and the management gives its complete support and funds for these forums

Dislikes

there were very few cultural fests and celebrations that were conducted in the college
industrial visits are not given by the campus

Placement Experience:

the cmapus does provide placements . they also provide placement training . the number of companies approaching for recruitment are pretty fair but there is a lack in core companies and only low number of recruits are taken by them. there are a number of it and services companies that come as recruiters . the average package for companies vary from 3lpa to a max of 5 lpa . previous year the intake was pretty low comparedto its previous academic years. a nmber of students persue hgher studies which include both foregien universiies and renowed universities from india.

Placement offers were very high and teachers have a lot of skills.
They too oragnise a lot of programmes for persons and will keep them engaged
They organise kalam for sports persons and also yugam biggest souty indian event

Placement Experience:

Placments offer is very high in our college. From 5th semester onwards placments will be started and mostly 75 pecent of students will be easily placed and remaining vil opt for hugher studies. For civil highest vill be around 6 lpa and lowest 3.5 lpa

KCT is the innovation

The college is amazing with its infrastructure and staffs.
The faculties are good and very friendly at times.
Placements are surely helped to provide by faculties if we work as they r saying.

Dislikes

The package is low. Not too top notch companies are coming.
Everyone here is from same locality. So diversity is hard to find.

Placement Experience:

Placements are fine in my department. If no campus comes, then people tend to go for higher studies in foreign. More than 60 percent are getting placed. In 6th semester students start their placement training and then get eligible.

Life @ KCT

The teaching method of the staffs are pretty good and the practical experience in the campus is great one of the best college in coimbatore
Cultural fest like yugam, jananam and other events make college more better and it provides more benefits for the students in here
There are many technical forums like garage, Iqube ,HAM and many more forums which are more beneficiary for the students

Dislikes

We should walk a bit long for each of the department from tha parking lot
Infrastructure of the college must be updated
Cafeteria must be updated and the food proce should be kinda less

Course Curriculum Overview:

My aspiration is to become automobile Engineer so I chose this course. I am automotive enthusiast this and this curriculum prepared very well for the students to face the real world problems they are providing more practical knowledge about this field but it should be improved.The time period of each MS 3 months. There will be conducted two internals for a semester. There will lab for most of the subjects

An indepth review of Kumaraguru College of Technology's Infracstructure and Academics

the college infrastructure was impressive with spacious classroom equipped with latest technology
The whole campus have a lot of trees so we will have a lot of place to have fun
Compared to other colleges ,our mess is good(only comparatively).But hostel rooms are pretty good

Dislikes

course curriculum should be improved as it follows the old regulations

Placement Experience:

Around 5th semester students become eligible for placements.I have visited Turing AI,Zoho,Mr Cooper and embedUR.Some made around 6-8 total offers where as some only 2-3.Highest Package currently is 15LPA.Average is around 7-8LPA. Around 2-3 percentage per drive.My plan is to Get placed in company.

What is your review of Kumaraguru College of Technology??

One of my friends was a part of the 2017 MCA batch of Kumaraguru College of Technology. According to her, the atmosphere at the institute is great and it offers decent academics.

The campus life is quite enjoyable. You will get to meet many people on the campus. The college is not that strict about attendance so you can bunk classes and explore the campus on bicycles with your friends.
The hostel facilities are great. The rooms are 4-sharing and food provided on mess is good.
KCT collaborates with good companies for the management of campus facilities and always ensures the convenience of the students. The average salary package here is 1.5 LPA while 28 LPA has been recorded as the highest salary.
It has also started Arts and Science faculties within the campus and hence, gives more freedom to make good friends.
“YUGAM” the cultural fest of the KCT provides the opportunity to showcase your talent and expertise in the particular field to the students.

You will definitely have a good time at KCT.
