KCT is famous for its Engineering programs offered at both UG and PG level which includes B.E, B.Tech, M.E and M.Tech. Apart from these, the college also offers MBA, MCA and Research programs like Ph.D. or M.S.
The admission process for all the courses except Research are conducted by Anna University. For securing admission in B.E and B.Tech, the qualified candidates have to attend TNEA Counselling after their board exam result. While, for PG courses consisting of M.E, M.Tech, MBA and MCA, students have to appear for the TANCET exam followed by TANCET Counselling.

Kumaraguru College of Technology UG Selection Criteria
- The Government of Tamil Nadu makes admission to B.E/B.Tech courses of all the affiliated colleges through TNEA Counselling administered by Anna University, Chennai.
- A merit list is prepared based on the class 12th board exam.
- Candidates whose names are mentioned on the merit list have to appear for the TNEA counselling.
- Such applicants need to first register on the official portal of TNEA.
- After registration, they have to visit at any of the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs) along with their documents for verification.
- Upon successful verification, candidates have to fill the choice of course and college (KCT)
- Based on the choices filled and score obtained in board exams, seat allotment will be done
- Those who will be allotted a seat need to confirm the seat and report at the allotted college in order to complete the further admission process.
How to Apply for UG Courses?
The application process to apply for the TNEA Counselling in order to get admission in UG courses is mentioned as follows:
- Go to the official website of TNEA.
- Register yourself by providing a username and password.
- Login with the above credentials to fill the online application form.
- Fill all the necessary details including the preferred TFC for document verification.
- Make payment of INR 500/- (INR 250/- for SC/SCA/ST categories) and then submit the form.
- After submitting, you will receive a PDF document through the TNEA Application Processing System.
- Take a printout of the same and affix a recent passport size photograph.
- Submit this printout at the TFC for verification.
NOTE - Candidates need to download an E-Call letter from the official website of TNEA which will contain date, time and address of TFC. An email and SMS will also be sent to registered candidates.

Kumaraguru College of Technology PG Selection Criteria
- For admission into PG courses, candidates need to appear in the TANCET exam conducted by Anna University.
- Post result declaration, the university will publish a merit list based on the rank in the TANCET exam.
- Those who will have their names in this list are called to attend the TANCET Counselling.
- Candidates who have a MAT score of 500 or above are also considered for MBA admission. Such candidates have to directly appear for the counselling round.

Students who want to apply for the PG courses have to register for the TANCET exam and counselling. The steps to apply are mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of TANCET.
- Click on the Registration link.
- Provide basic details such as name, mobile number, email address, etc to register.
- A key will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Now login by entering the registered email id, password and TANCET key to fill the application form.
- Also, upload scanned images of documents.

I chose this college for its strong curriculum, industry ties, and better placement opportunities compared to others I applied to. While I got accepted into other colleges, this one offered the best balance. The admission process required a exam score and was well-organized.

I applied for sastra University, vit University, and for rejected and then I applied for general counselling in which I have psg, sri krishna, kumaraguru college. I had the cutoff of 148 and it is admissible by the college

- The teaching method of the staffs are pretty good and the practical experience in the campus is great one of the best college in coimbatore
- Cultural fest like yugam, jananam and other events make college more better and it provides more benefits for the students in here

- We should walk a bit long for each of the department from tha parking lot

Admission process is very easy and it will be taken care by the staffs of the department. Student has less cut off he/she should opt management quota and for automobime department the amount of quota is around 5 to 7 lakhs. The management quota seeds should be reserved a month before the result or as soon as possible. The fees differs for the management quota students and the government quota students

Admission process is so easy they will ask some original certificate you need to give it and then based on your cut off you will be selected. No need of any entrance exam to join the college. They need to allot some more waiting area for the students.

Eligibility was around 189(E-cutoff).I got admission through engineering counselling. Yes theres reservation for government school students and based on the caste also.Every two months there will be an internal exam.Admission process is good it can be done in 15 minutes without need of parents.

Our college is under counseling and management quota . The cutoff is about 198 for computer science and Artificial intelligence and data science and for electrical engineering 185 to 195 based on their caste

Cutoff required is more than 170 outof 200 and entrance exams are not necessary for the admission and the admission process seems to be easy but donation is required if counseling is not applied or without cutoff

- Lab facilities and equipment implements has to be made much better for a proper hands-on experience
- The main parking area for bikes does not have a upper cover. So the vehicles has to be in a open space. This has to be made efficient.
Admission:
As it is a reputed institution, the cut-off mark is much important. One who has the good cutoff marks can easily approach through counselling. Also the reservation policy admissions are also followed in a proper manner.
