KCT Coimbatore BE/B.Tech Selection Criteria

The Government of Tamil Nadu makes admission to B.E./B.Tech courses of all the affiliated colleges through TNEA Counselling, administered by Anna University, Chennai.
A merit list is prepared based on the Class 12th board exam.
Candidates whose names are mentioned on the merit list have to appear for the TNEA counselling.
Such applicants need to first register on the official portal of TNEA.
After registration, they have to visit any of the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs) along with their documents for verification.
Upon successful verification, candidates have to fill out the choice of course and college (KCT)
Based on the choices filled and the score obtained in the board exams, seat allotment will be done
Those who will be allotted a seat need to confirm the seat and report to the allotted college in order to complete the further admission process.

How to Apply for UG Courses?

The application process to apply for the TNEA Counselling to get admission in UG courses is mentioned as follows:

Go to the official website of TNEA.
Register yourself by providing a username and password.
Login with the above credentials to fill the online application form.
Fill all the necessary details including the preferred TFC for document verification.
Make payment of INR 500 (INR 250 for SC/SCA/ST categories) and then submit the form.
After submitting, you will receive a PDF document through the TNEA Application Processing System.
Take a printout of the same and affix a recent passport size photograph.
Submit this printout at the TFC for verification.

NOTE - Candidates need to download an E-Call letter from the official website of TNEA which will contain date, time and address of TFC. An email and SMS will also be sent to registered candidates.

KCT Coimbatore PG Selection Criteria

For admission into PG courses, candidates need to appear in the TANCET exam conducted by Anna University.
Post result declaration, the university will publish a merit list based on the rank in the TANCET exam.
Those who will have their names in this list are called to attend the TANCET Counselling.
Candidates who have a MAT score of 500 or above are also considered for MBA admission. Such candidates have to directly appear for the counselling round.
To take part in the counselling rounds, applicants have to register online, fill the choice of course & college (KCT). They also have to get their documents verified.
After verification, the concerned authority will allot seats based on the rank obtained and choices filled by the student.
Students who are satisfied with the allotment need to report at the allotted college to complete further admission formalities.

How to Apply for PG Courses?

Students who want to apply for the PG courses have to register for the TANCET exam and counselling. The steps to apply are mentioned below:

Visit the official website of TANCET.
Click on the Registration link.
Provide basic details such as name, mobile number, email address, etc to register.
A key will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Now login by entering the registered email id, password and TANCET key to fill the application form.
Also, upload scanned images of documents.
Once the form is complete, make application fee payment of INR 600/- (INR 300 for SC/SCA/ST candidates) through Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
After payment, submit the form and take a printout of the same for future use.

So I chose is college best of all the suggestion which was given buy my elder sister who was at that time and elder to me she was also doing agriculture and other University I asked by the best colleges CS suggested me this college and she said that this has the highest pass I applied for Annamalai University and Sethu Bhaskara college upon I didn't get their admission but in sliding I got this Kumaraguru Institute of agriculture... for the other colleges but Radha seeds were full and I apply lately that's the reason for rejection. Admission process of the college is purely based upon the 12th mark which you have got upon the cut off marks for the subjects of physics chemistry biology and maths for biomaths group and physics chemistry biology and other science course for few pure science group. The cut of Mark to join is college when at the time I join this college was 165 starting till 159 so no problem in cutoff there are also management staff there if you get enough contact with an even get seat through management. The management here is so careful that they always focus on the Comforts of students and parents they always respect and give the atmost fast reply to all the questions which are raised by the parents and students

YUGAM is the largest intra college fest in south india with participation of highly rated musicians and singers from south. actually i've first applied to this college and got the seat . Cut off varies from department to department. with AIDS having the highest cut off.. admission process is based on anna university norms. admission office in this college is very calm and provides every academic details before joining the college
