Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was really good and up to date. It really pepares us to the current working conditions. There are a lor of skill based learning opportunities and peer learning opportunities. The forums for students helped us to come out of our comfort zone.

Internships Opportunities

4

There were internship opportunities in companies like Burger paints and a lot of start ups. They were project based and major based like Marketing, Data Analytics, Human resource, Finance. Some rolls were specific while some rolls for just interns

Placement Experience

2

Students are eligible for placements from 3rd semester. A lot of banks like Federal , CUB came in for placements but only for sales positions. Most of the companies came in for sales and traine postions with an average package of 4-5 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees seems to be increasing. I paid 250K per year along with 3Lakhs donation. There are few scholarships available. If you score above 90% in TANSET exam then you can get in without the donation. For regeistration you have to pay something around 2k and then pay a desposit of 20k for other expenses

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure is reallt good. Very professional AC class rooms and conference halls. A lot of opportunities to participate in culturals and other expos. The student forum is strong and studrnts are allowed to lead and conduct any events.

Admission

I did not really aim for any other college. I wrote MAT exam and then entered through a 3 step admission process. 1) you have to write a SOP 2) There is group discussion 3) Personal interview The cut offs were not revealed

Faculty

4

We were 191 students and there were 20 to 25 faculty for each major. I really liked Dr.Suganya who taught Technology for marketing which was very interesting. We had 2 internals per semester and one final semester exam.

Night Life

5

I was not a part of hostel since I was a day scholar but I heard that the campus life was great. Library, labs, gyms. They even had movie nights and fun activities during the night. My hostle friends used to enjoy.

Placement Experience:

Following their first year, students must complete a mandated two-month internship, after which they are eligible for final placements after the fourth trimester. This year, over 150 firms came to campus, and there is a rigorous guideline of only one offer per student. The highest package provided on campus was 28 LPA, with an average package of 13.6 LPA this year. 95 percent of students are placed on campus, with the other 5% opting out for sabbaticals, additional education, or to establish their own business.

Remarks:

I got to know about this university on Youtube where I saw a promotional video advertisement while watching a random video. When I searched for the MBA program on its official website, I found the fees structure and several facilities best fit as per my expectations. I confirmed my decision over the call while contacting the admission officer in the campus. My application fees was 500, and my selection process comprised of a written eligibility test, group discussion round and eventually a personal interview round. My CAT score was 65 percentile.

Time management is one real asset that I developed in these three months. Joining BIM has given me with an opportunity to meet people with varied backgrounds, get a good network of intellectual people and give a chance to learn Tamil. Much software that I learnt for problem solving has given me an edge over any other MBA graduate of first year in the country.
