Course Curriculum Overview

As the the college is autonomous the curriculum is a bit helpfull in all aspects the frequency and timings of exams are ok .. Question papers are prepared by AI WHICH is very difficult to answer couldn't be specific

Internships opportunities are offered under good stipend it would be good if the internships are paid over non paid internships which would be usefull the out comes are very good and it is very helpful

The placements are good the companies visit are ctterpillar salzer Bull etc many companies do visit our college 60 percent of the students are getting placed my plan is to do higher studies after ug

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is reduced by 10 percent every year the year wise fees is paid the tuition fee is 700000 for the course and no other development fee is collected it is collected with tuition fee mgm scholarship is awarded

Campus Life

The campus experience is very nice and the ambience is very good tge events that take place are yugam and jananam yugam has both technical and non tecnical event it takes every march month of the year

Admission

I chose this college for their lab facilities and the hands on experience which could be easy to learn and study this was the reason i chose kumaraguru college ofTechNolGy and placements are very good

Faculty

The faculty relationship with the student is very good and they are very friendly and supportive to the students there are two internal exams for every semester the staffs i liked are our HOD ,subbiah,

Night Life

There are many facilities available in the college like gym cafeteria spirts centre and library the hostel is also ver well maintained the locality is also safe to roam around at night hostel timings are 10

For placements inside campus we become eligible from 7th semester onwards. there is a minimum cgpa criteria which we are informed. Companies which reputation come for placement drives : Some of them are : Google Microsoft Amazon TCS INFOSYS wipro HCL Larsen and Toubro Samsung and many more. The highest salary package from what i know was 23 lakhs per annum and on an average a package of 3.5-5 LPA is offered to students.

The curriculum is more based on what is the requirement cuurently in the industry and changes are made every year to maintain its standard and quality.Areas of improvement needed in teaching methods is that instead of just reading the ppts, it will be nice if teacher uses some practical way to explain the concept or adds more examples to the slides. I chose this college because the first reason is it was near to my home. The travel distance was less. And the placements offered by this college was awesome.
