Various types of scholarships are given here which helps students economically.
Good faculty team which makes it easier for the students to understand concepts.
Our hostel room condition too good , and environment is very good.

Dislikes

Admission process is not so long easy process but in admission clg behavior not well.
Our hostel meal is very poor condition, and hostel cook bad man.

Placement Experience:

Till when i was doing my diploma i wanted to do M.Tech from an IIT. My Teachers says that it is only possible after B.Tech so by clearing JELET exam i took admission in this college. The placement records of this college is very good in my opinion. The average package is around 7 to 8LPA. The highest package of our campus was 42LPA.

Faculty members of KGEC , they always helpfull
The Annual fest of KGEC - Espektro, actually it's like an emotion
Annual sports of KGEC, all seniors and juniors play together.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year means 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like - Amazon, Wipro , Infosys, TCS, HCL,Walmert, Honda, and many more companies are visit. Approx 80%-90% students are got placed every year.

The placement of this campus is very good. More than 80 percent of students get placed from campus placement. WIPRO, L&T, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI etc companies came into our campus. They provide an average package of 6.5LPA.

Our College

Likes

Experience Faculty and their teaching process are good
Having library facilities and GYM in College campus
College fees are so much Less and also hostel fees

Dislikes

Placement are not better in few years of our college
College campus are not good and beautiful
Class are not done in regular basis of college.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placements and some cases 6th sem are also eligible. Companies visited like TCS, Cognizant, L&T, Etc. Highest package - 20 lakhs/annaum. Average package - 7-8 Lakhs/annaum. Percentage of students getting placements : 85 percent.

Our college fest is second largest fest in West Bengal. Like clg teacher very helpful.
I like the faculties of our department and faculties are too much helpful.
Our hostel room condition too good , and environment is very good.

Dislikes

Our hostel meal is very poor condition, and hostel cook bad man.
Our campus road conditions is very poor type.
Our canteen facilitys are not available in our college.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement till 7th semester. The companys like TCS, WIPRO,TATA POWER,L&T are came into our campus. The highest package of our clg is 42 lpa which is published four years ago by the clg . Here more than 75% students getting placed here after getting the degree I want to pursue Mtech from any IIT campus.

Hidden Insights of KGEC

Likes

The availability o hostel is quite good that i like very much.
The faculty is great and helpful for each student.
The head of the department is the best teacher i have seen.

Dislikes

Meal quality of hostel is not good at all.
Laboratory must be improved. There are lack of technologies.
College is tending towards more cultural as for this placement are in the risk.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies came such as tcs, wipro, infosis, l&t, wood, dastur etc. the highest packages is 45 lpa and average package is 6 lpa. There are 70% students will be placed. My plan is to get placed.
