The view is very nice .the teachers are so helping in academics. couse is nice.
Location is magnificent the morning and evening view is just awesome
Yah college fees is very good and in it's budget friendly range also in terms of campus jobs the placement rate is okay not so good not so bad and all things are good here and also mamy scholarship available

Dislikes

Talking about the hostels in our college , 3 boys share a room with the average space but the washrooms are dirty and not cleaned regularly.
Faculty to student ration is good for a class of 60 students there is 5 faculties faculties are well qualified interation with faculty is very low or nill, some talk very rudely
Mess facilities are bad- food us too oily and bland in taste

Likes

I like that thier is strict teacher in the collage and their is criteria for attandance for each semester which is 75% and thier is one month of vacation after each semester so which student get the opportunity to do other activities
Situated in a mountain region and good environment
Far from the city give an isolation to college

Dislikes

Attendance criteria of 75% which give student lack of time for other activities
Lack of. Facilities for sports like badminton court football ground
Autonomous collage so that teachers not give you good marks

Low ups and high downs

Likes

The campus is away from the city so it provides a good environment for the study.
The regular student activities is part of the curriculum
The campus is clean and well managed. & the fees is quite affordable.

Dislikes

Some staff members are just there. They don't even know what they're teaching.
No clarity about whether college is still autonomous or not.
The winter is very cold & the heaters aren't allowed above this.

Placement Experience:

The collge has a placement cell and it is quite active. Although the average package is not so high (around 3 lpa) the number of students getting placed across all branches is quite good considering a tier 3 college.

Likes

I like the like the views around the college and like the environment and I like the friendly neighborhood. College has nice good temperature and nice scenes around the college. Govind ballabh pant institute of engineering and technology are overall
I like the that the college is in my home state
It has nice scenes around the college and good people

Dislikes

I don't like the teachers of the college
The teachers are self focused they did not have any intentions to teaching the students
Adminstration are very bad they do bad work

The beautiful views of our college is the thing that we are most attracted towards.

Dislikes

The water problems here is very frustrating sometimes
The distance between girls hostel and departments is very much
Less availability of girls hostels and due to which there are conjusted spaces.

Placement Experience:

Oncampus Placements of this college is low so u have to preapare on your own for better offcampus Placement. Placement Percentage is quite low like only 70% student get placed and most of the student prepare for GATE. company visited are cognizant,tcs ,bel and infosys

The overall weather quality is very nice .
Students are very helpful to us when we need anything,
The sport culture is great in the college.

Dislikes

I found that the quality of infrastructure is old
the course can be changed in some subjects to newer curriculum.
Also, monkeys around the campus cause a lot of havoc

Real view of GBPIET

Likes

The first thing I like is its nature and environment.
The first thing I like is its campus diversement.

Dislikes

The main thing here is attack of monkeys and tiger at night.
No proper hygiene in the mess food and irregularity of weather.
No proper water supply system in the college

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester to 8 semester students become eligible for campus placement. Wipro l&t are the few companies that visited and made of a to students previous year. The highest package that I know is 60 lakh and the average packages 2 lakh. The percentage of student getting placement is 15%. my plans after getting the degree clearing GATE exam for the studies or getting job in MNC because I don't have much faith in the college or campus placement.

Less fees for a student to pay so easy and accessable for everyone
Events are there for development for a student to develop

My college experience

Likes

I like the environment, nature, faculties and the infrastructure.
Infrastructure are built top notch. There are several canteens for students.
The other thing I like is the fest that institute organizes.

Dislikes

There is less things to be disliked but the main thing I dislike is the danger of tigers and leopard at night

Placement Experience:

As I'm in 2nd ye I don't know much about the placement cell but I heard from the seniors that the placement ratio is good but only for those who devoted themselves to studies. The highest placement ever was like 1.1 CR and avg is 6L. The percentage of students getting placement is like 40%.My plans are giving CDS or GATE exam for higher studies.

Likes

I liked the environment of the college and supporting nature
I liked the faculty which is very supportive in nature
I liked seniors also they are very supportive

Dislikes

Away from home and availability of water is not good
Electricity go often in the college which is very bad
Some faculty are very bad in nature because they are very rude

As I am a student of Computer Science engineering. It is future proof as my thoughts . I liked it very much as it is good to study . In future I will do artificial intelligence and machine learning course which is very interesting

REALVIEW

Likes

Major reason for selecting this college was its beautiful campus. Located near Pauri in Garhwal it has natural beauty.
You can consider at as a third tier college, there are many gate aspirants in this college.
Good culture for gate preparation. Attendence is not such a big issue .

Dislikes

Not all the teachers are qualified for the subjects they are teaching.
Since its a state govt college that too in remote area you can't get things done easily.
Mess food is not so good, complaints are usually left unheard.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are erratic. Many students focus on GATE exam. Packages offered are 4-10 lacs. From PSU BEl is a popular recruiter. CSE and ECE students secure the highest packages. 7th semester students can sit for on campus placements.
