GCET Jammu Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students from the uth and 8th semester are eligible for placements. Companies offering packages about 10 lakhs come in the college. Out of 10 ,at most 5 students get the placement easily from the campus.

from the seventh semester students are eligible for college placements and the students who have no backlogs are allowed to sit in the placements but sometimes the students with backlogs are also allowed to sit in the placements varies company to company novem technologies, pie infocom and sparks technology, avi soft these are some of the companies which visited the college for on campus placement as you can check no well known company is there almost 50% students have a chance of getting placed if you prepare enough for the coding and technical rounds I'm planning to move abroad for my ms

From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Just one company visits and that too isn't up to the mark.Its PISOFT. The highest average package in our campus was 6lpa earlier. Now that also doesn't exist.We have to go for off-campus placement. Only 4 students out of a batch of 63 students. After getting the degree.I will apply in a company for a job via off-campus placement.

It is the best Btech engineering college for me becoz of less fees and I can able to do engineering. course updated frequently and exam are moderate level and two times internal exams happens for each semester

From the 7th semester the students can apply for campus placements College provides an average placements. Highest package provided by the differnet companies are 3.6 lakh /year 30-40?studensts are getting placements my plan after getting the degree is to study futher

From 7th semester students are eligible for placements . Very less companies visit our college offering average packages of 3 lakh INR . Avisoft -3 lakh Zibal technology- 3 lakh PI infocomm - 4 lakh If a class of 40 applies for the placement they only take 4 5 students at max . I myself will be looking for off campus placements because they offer higher packages

The course curriculum and the teachers were not what students expect. Moreover, the subjects who were there for the study were not having a good syllabus. They didn't include hands-on practice or labs for subjects like AI, and ML. The contractual teachers were good they were very helpful. But some head teachers are not supportive they didn't give independence to students to explore new things. We are having two Sessional exams and then a final exam, both the exams are very tough as they didn't give marks easily.

College is good and I have a lot of memories and the staff is the best and always available for the help.
