Good value for money college with nice curriculum

Course curriculum was quite good to be honest because I belonged to Computer Engineering. It included both hardware and software and the curriculum was quite relevant given the current scenario of software and hardware-related computer industry. It included all the key subjects like Machine learning Artificial intelligence web development microprocessors etc. which summed to almost everything related to computer scenarios.The early semester exams were delayed due to COVID but later semesters were on time and exams are moderately difficult and again relevant to the course

From 7th semester students are eligible for placements . Very less companies visit our college offering average packages of 3 lakh INR . Avisoft -3 lakh Zibal technology- 3 lakh PI infocomm - 4 lakh If a class of 40 applies for the placement they only take 4 5 students at max . I myself will be looking for off campus placements because they offer higher packages

Because it was a Government college the fees were quite low and very much affordable. It was around 15000 per semester which I think is affordable even for poor and middle-class people. The complete cost of the course was around 125000 and there is financial aids for students provided by the college itself which is government-aided. I have not taken any campus employment as of now

There was at maximum one social festival organized by the college committee and the social aspects of the college were not that well. The library had almost all the relevant books related to the curriculum but the availability of books was limited. By availability I mean the number of books you can get at a time. Classrooms were average but the labs were quite good and sports was organized occasionally by the hostel and the sports committee of the college

My admission to the college was through the JKBOPEE exam but the exam was not held because of COVID-19 that's why my admission was through 12th-based merit and the application form is available in the JKBOPEE website. I did not avail of any reservation benefits because I belong to the general category. For the admission process, there was a counselling process that too offline. We had to stand in large queue to get our number. The process should have been online to prevent time
