Remarks

College is good and I have a lot of memories and the staff is the best and always available for the help.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum and exams are governed by the university of Jammu which is good and it is completely research driven. The exams are fair and good. The college has a great role in making me a better professional. The college does everything to shape the future of the students.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are great Some of the major companies that visit for college placements are Infosys and many others The placements are done by the companies and the students that are going to sit in placements must have minimum of 65% and there are special ways by which the students are prepared.

College Events

4.5

The various events celebrated in the college are Tech fest Farewell Annual fest Workshops The events are big and each and every college of the state are invited for these fests and the participate with great enthusiasm and support these fests The workshops are based on new technologies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The semester fee of the college is just 10000 approx. And the modes of payment are online through any bank and offline also or through drafts. There are no other charges except that fee and no security fees for the services of the college. The college does provide transparency in the fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I have not opted for any scholarship. But there are many scholarships for the students depending on there situation.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is approx 1:3 boy to girl respectively. Many workshops are organised by the college to ensure that the students gain as much knowledge as possible. There is no racism or ranging in the college campus as it is prohibited and strict action are taken against the students indulged in raging.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No I have not opted for the hostel. But the students in hostel gave a good feedback and the mess food is amazing. In every room there are 2 students for juniors and for seniors in each room there is only one student.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors were of good nature and helpful in each and every scene and helped us a lot during the projects and seminars.

Admission

Admissions through entrance exam. Opted B. E COMPUTER Engineering. Only state governed engineering college in jammu that is why I chose this college and computer Engineering has good scope as compared to other courses. Admission procedure was simple just went for counselling and based on marks of entrance test I got admitted.

Faculty

5

Our college has a total of 50 teaching and 20 non teaching staff. Most of them are young between the age of 26 to 38. All teaching staff have great experience with certificates. Every year there are industry tours though which students gain experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
