The tuition fees as constant for all the 4 years of the course. There was no rate hike policies. The complete cost for my BE Chemical course was arounf INR 5 lacs inclusive of all. There were some scholarships available which reduced the tuition fees upto 80% but I was not eligible. I had taken a job after passing the campus interview. The job was for project management position with a stipend of INR 1800 per month. This was in the year 2003 after I passed my BE course.
The fee is very less as compared to other colleges in Mumbai and Navi mumbai areas. Most of the courses have fees less than 1lakh. Campus placement opportunities are good as well. Economically weaker sections, OBC, SC, ST can avail fee concessions.
There is a government scheme for those who qualify through entrance exam and financially weak i.e Economical backward class and through caste quota. If any student wouldn't come under this qualification then they help you to get the education loan.
The qualification through your Mhcet and JEE score will help you to get scholarship upto half of your admission fees. Scholarship varied on your economic background and caste category the only thing you need is the necessary documents related to your economic background and caste certificate if required.
The scholarship is provided for higher education purpose and for minority quota people for those who are going for MS
There are different scholarships that are given by Mumbai university based on the performance of students. College does not provide any loan or scholarship.
