Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course not due to the curriculum..i qlways dreamed of becoming a good doctor. The level.of satisfaction you get in this profession wont be anywhere else. The modernization of curriculum has stressed on the clinical aspects which i think is the core of medicine. We have been taken to bedside and taught to examine patients diagnose the case and interpret imaging. Also the skill lab clears the obstruction we face in a real life like we are being trained in BLS and ALS. Our junior batches are also taken to trivandrum medical college to see autopsy which in fact is a real opportunity.
The course could improve in a way that apart from academics it must give importance to sports arts also which is not promoted in our college. Also revisions classes can be made effects by conducting small test papers chapter wise instead of taking chapters on repetition. Exams are almost done in an effective way.
The course is actually very difficult compared to others. So much effort has to be put in from both students and Teacher's side.
Faculties here are amazing.. The way they teach and their dedication level
We have three large air conditioned smart lecture halls
Management is trying their best for improving the infrastructure

They have wide parking areas.. Still huge rush.
We have to wait for a long period just to pay bills.
There is not enough privacy in wards , sometimes it is full of patients.

Dislikes
The infrastructure is sub-par. There is no proper campus. The academics block is comprised of only 3 buildings But the college is improving year by year.
The hospital used to be a total disaster during my admission time. The college hospital has been renovated over the years, and it’s better than ever! The updated hospital now has modern equipment, bigger wards, and improved services for patients.
I'veheard hostelers complaint about the mess food. Many students have expressed dissatisfaction, citing repetitive menus, lack of flavor, and concerns about hygiene. These complaints reflect the need for improvements in the overall dining experience.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Our curriculum is really hectic. There something called CBME curriculum implemented from the 2019 batch. It is ambitious. But it does make the struggles of us students harder. You'll never be free from exams. There'll be atleast 2 internal exams and 1 model exam each year followed by a university exam. It is really stressful. The syllabus is vast and it does take some time getting used to the subjects and figuring out the way of presentation of answers. Clinics too are well charted out, exposing us to all departments. There are talks of NEXT which is meant to change the way students graduate integrating neet pg to the final year exams. But it is still speculation and know one actually knows the direction in which it'll proceed.
Again, this course isn't for the easy goers.
The faculites seems to be dedicated in teaching students
The college is currently in innovation for bringing new facilities
The hospital has cases and provides good quality treatment there is enough patients as compared to other private medical colleges
