The college is recognized for its experienced and approachable faculty, with a strong focus on educating students. However, it places significant emphasis on attendance, sometimes at the expense of productive engagement. Students report spending long hours on campus without much activity, as leaving is not allowed. Placement services are not organized by the college, as many students pursue further studies for better job opportunities. Nevertheless, the alumni network is robust, aiding graduates in securing fellowships, observerships, and job referrals in prestigious global hospitals.

Alumni have achieved notable positions, such as Dr. Anuja Dalvi, former Head Physio for the Bangladesh Cricket team. The college offers a 6-month internship with hands-on experience, remunerated at 1,700 INR monthly, with an additional 1,750 INR from MUHS. Graduates are well-regarded in renowned hospitals like Nanavati and Lilavati, and can choose to establish their own practices, work in hospitals, or pursue academic careers. Scholarships are available for students, including the Tata Scholarship for open category students scoring over 70%, covering 50% of tuition fees, with additional opportunities for those scoring above 80%.

Economic backward class students can apply for the EBC Scholarship, while OBC students have access to freeships or scholarships. General category tuition fees range from 60,000 to 70,000 INR annually, with extra charges for library and gym facilities. The Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship is available for students with family incomes below 8 lakh INR, reimbursing about 20,000 INR, or half of the tuition fees. As a government institution, the college does not impose additional fees.

Internship stipends amount to 8,000 INR monthly.
