Departmental store inside the campus, which is very convenient for students

Dislikes

Not many things but hostel are bit in a bad shape now
Too many stray cats, wish warden allowed pets
Wish we can have single rooms per student

Admission:

This is the only college i applied for. And I'm thankful that i get to study here. To get admitted in here, we first have to clear neet and after that seat allotment will be done through state wise councelling.

Life of mbbs

Likes

We are taught by experienced senikr professors.
We perform practical class everyday,and thoroughly
Teaching is done using powerpoint presentation

Dislikes

Class is taken 8 am to 4 pm ,for first years ,which is good though
Our class air conditioner is not quite active at the end of the course
Lunch break is only 1hr ,considering the distance between hostel and college

Admission:

I do not apply for another college. RIMS is indeed my first choice for learning my course. In order to get seat in RIMS, for mbbs course, I took NEET exam. which is held once every year. After getting the cutoff mark neet, I applied for state seat. the state selects students based on merit and then accordingly none of the students are given seats. The no of seats for different state may differ. After getting a seat and approval from the state, admission is done in the administration block in RIMS

Life of an Mbbs student

Likes

weather is very nice. campus is very large with big canteens , football fields, gym khana etc. Academics here is very strong and competitive
the food here is very nice, local food is something very good to taste. and the common people here are very friendly.

Dislikes

The night life is totally absent. Less tourist attraction places.
Less exposure to some cocurricular activites .

Admission:

to get into this college you need to give NEET exam, I am of unreserved category so for general the cut off was around 603-604 during my time, since I hail from one of the northeast states this college has separate seats for each northeast states, I took admission by the reserved seat of my state in that college that is by state quota. coming to admission process, documents like birth certificate, class 10 and 12 marks heat, family income were required during admission.

An unorthodox opinion about RIMS

Likes

The fest of rimsam and the freedom this place offers
The playground and cleanliness of the area
The faculties and the patient load which is available at the hospital

Dislikes

Too much work load and study load for the academics
The gymkhana is not at all well established
The highly competitive nature of the college

Admission:

The admission process is NEET examination. Eligibility for the course is you need to be at least 12 pass. Application form is found at NMC.gov.in. application fees is around 2000. Frequency of exam is once a yea.r

Review of a Med student.

Likes

Low cost for study and staying in hostel ie. affordability.
Campus life is good , there is all facilities of studying and playing are present
Single room is given to students so that we can focus more in our studies.

Dislikes

The hostel food are not good and breakfast & evening tiffin is not given.
Availability of foods and other things are less , so we have to struggle and buy with more cost than the normal price.
The vacation given to the students are very less, even after final exam only few days are given. It it impacts students mental health.

Admission:

The admission process is done by selecting the students with an entrance exam , conducted by National Medical Council, named NEET ug. The students should apply for the exam by filling out the form that is given in the NMC website. Fixed seats are available for the students. The students with very good merits are selected and get a chance to be a govt. medical College according to their number. Exam held in 720 marks with physics (180 marks), chemistry (180 marks), and biology (360 marks). In the security of the NEET exam, there should be an improvement because in some places cheating had been caught. And in the counseling process, the procedure should be more accurate because some deserving students cannot get the seat they deserve.

Likes

Time for extracurricular activities mainly sports
Education structure and the quality provided
Huge campus area and lots of places to venture

Dislikes

No night life and no clubs or parties outside
Exams stress as no gaps are. Given in between each tests
Food quality in the mess given and no beeakfast

Admission:

Eligibility is neet exam qualified and the application process is done after neet result ....benefits are there for SC st OBC exams occur after each semester periodic class test also occur and at the end University examination takes place conducted by the Manipur University

Admission:

Eligibility for admission is a 12th pass from a recognized national or state board along with qualification in the NEET IG exam ... The application form was available on the RIMS official website. The application fee was a one-time NEET via the bank of 500 rupees. The application window opens from July onwards after the NEET results are declared. NEET UG examination is conducted once every year in May for admission into medical courses across the country. The exam is fairly competitive with moderate difficulty spanned across three subjects namely physics chemistry and biology consisting of 360 questions. There are certain lapses and irregularities regarding the timing of the admission process especially in the northeast quota and ees counselling processes and notification delays which could be addressed by the authorities for a smooth and efficient admission process

College campus,classroom library facilities,faculties and help from pgs and seniors,affordable couse and infrastructure,on the basis of job related factors also satisfying salary and moreover the environment of the place
College fests co curricular activities besides study trips and field visits new scopes of learning exposure to medical field clinically during postings and all scope to learn things more practically rather than only theoretical knowledge
More man power helpful for the patients for getting more care and proper treatment time to time no negligence and fast and affordable treatment with adequate facilities during their stay in the hospital

Dislikes

Hostel accomodation problem is there as huge number of students rooms are not adequate new hoatela are not yet available especially for girls so difficult to study and all as many people living together
Mess food is not that good is rather being improved quantity provided is not adequate and even the quality and the menu need to be improved more s students from all the states of North east are here in this regional college
Vacations and holidays are less compared to some other colleges duration can be more than the one provided now so that the students can refresh their minds

Admission:

Neet qualified Application forms is separately available on the RIMS official website after the exam during counselling and the fee is 1000 In open counseling EWS seats are there and in the state and all India counseling seats for all castes are available A counselling process which is offline can be improved
