Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized medical institution and have obtained permanent registration from NMC or any State Medical Council.
  • Candidates must have completed 12 months of compulsory rotatory internship on or before July 31 of the year of admission (as per MCC/NMC notification).
  • For Non-RIMS Open category: Candidates must be Indian nationals from the Northeast beneficiary states (Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura) with MBBS from any NMC-recognized institution except RIMS Imphal.
  • Candidates who have already obtained an MD/MS degree from Manipur University or any other university in India are NOT eligible.

Admission Process

  • Qualify NEET PG conducted by NBEMS.
  • Download the RIMS PG admission application form from www.rims.edu.in and fill it in the prescribed format.
  • Pay the non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 2,000 via bank transfer to Punjab National Bank (Account No. 0652010083186, IFSC: PUNB0065220).
  • Submit the duly filled application form with all required documents to the Dean (Academics), RIMS Imphal.
  • Attend the RIMS institutional counselling in person with all original documents.
  • Selected candidates must pay the admission fee and submit original certificates to the Dean's Office.
