Life of mbbs

Likes

We are taught by experienced senikr professors.
We perform practical class everyday,and thoroughly

Dislikes

Class is taken 8 am to 4 pm ,for first years ,which is good though
Our class air conditioner is not quite active at the end of the course

Internships Opportunities:

The college itself provide intership,for which students are awarded with around Rs.25000 monthly for UG The students work as a doctor and help the seniors It is very useful as the student is able to learn amny things through internship

Life of an Mbbs student

Likes

weather is very nice. campus is very large with big canteens , football fields, gym khana etc. Academics here is very strong and competitive
the food here is very nice, local food is something very good to taste. and the common people here are very friendly.

Dislikes

The night life is totally absent. Less tourist attraction places.
Less exposure to some cocurricular activites .

Internships Opportunities:

1 year internship is included in this course where you will get paid 26700 per month if you serve for 1 year. this is required if you want to graduate out from this college. this internship also provides exposure on how to handle patients, diagnose diseases and carry out diseases .

campus is very good... canteen and cafes are available
facilities are very good...the teachers ase good...the clinics is very good

Internships Opportunities:

there will be internship after final year...the give around 30k per month...a good salary though...but the duties are also very heavy...there will be internship for all the departments...u have to take completion from all departments

Internship is done at the hospital itslef in vaious departments with a definite duration ranging from 1 week to 3 months, we get to learn and experience a lot , gets to assist surgeries and deliveries

An unorthodox opinion about RIMS

Likes

The fest of rimsam and the freedom this place offers
The playground and cleanliness of the area

Dislikes

Too much work load and study load for the academics
The gymkhana is not at all well established

Internship is of 1 year with a pay scale of ?26900. With all the department of medical sciences and takinh care of the patients... research facilities are also available and patient load is also high.

Review of a Med student.

Likes

Low cost for study and staying in hostel ie. affordability.
Campus life is good , there is all facilities of studying and playing are present

Dislikes

The hostel food are not good and breakfast & evening tiffin is not given.
Availability of foods and other things are less , so we have to struggle and buy with more cost than the normal price.

Internships Opportunities:

After completing 4 years of study 1 year internship have to be done and after that a student get the degree of becoming a doctor. In internship 26700 INR is given and a student have to do countless hours duty. These duties are done without sleep, without food because of lack of time.

College campus,classroom library facilities,faculties and help from pgs and seniors,affordable couse and infrastructure,on the basis of job related factors also satisfying salary and moreover the environment of the place
College fests co curricular activities besides study trips and field visits new scopes of learning exposure to medical field clinically during postings and all scope to learn things more practically rather than only theoretical knowledge

Dislikes

Hostel accomodation problem is there as huge number of students rooms are not adequate new hoatela are not yet available especially for girls so difficult to study and all as many people living together
Mess food is not that good is rather being improved quantity provided is not adequate and even the quality and the menu need to be improved more s students from all the states of North east are here in this regional college

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunities are very good in this regional college and a good salary is also provided as it is a central college and faculties facilities provided are very satisfying making the student capable of becoming a good practitioner clinically as practical knowledge is valued more and practiced

RIMS the Grestest life.

Likes

The hostel provide single room facility.
The proffesors are just outstanding and the resources provided is unimaginable.

Dislikes

Hostel rooms are very old. They need to be changed.
There is lacking of swimming pool, gym and lawn tennis court

Internships Opportunities:

We get into our internship after our completion of graduation. There is one year of internship in our college. The stipend provided is one of the highest in India as our college is central college. We get internship in our college and after that we can apply for residency.

The campus is really big and there is site for exploring
There is people from whole over india and thus we get to know many people

Dislikes

The quality of food is not as per level and requires improvement

Internship is given under our own college as Doctors after passing of 4th year examination and thus it is compulsory internship. Stipend of around 25000-30000 is given per month for serving as doctors and doing shift duties at different departments of hospital
