Life of mbbs

Likes

We are taught by experienced senikr professors.
We perform practical class everyday,and thoroughly

Dislikes

Class is taken 8 am to 4 pm ,for first years ,which is good though
Our class air conditioner is not quite active at the end of the course

Fees and Financial Aid:

Rs28000 paid as course fee and then gradually decreases,year after year . Got scholarship theough nsp and receive the amount 27000. All others fees such as tuition fees,lab fees ,sports,etc are paid separately abou.t 18000

Life of an Mbbs student

Likes

weather is very nice. campus is very large with big canteens , football fields, gym khana etc. Academics here is very strong and competitive
the food here is very nice, local food is something very good to taste. and the common people here are very friendly.

Dislikes

The night life is totally absent. Less tourist attraction places.
Less exposure to some cocurricular activites .

Fees and Financial Aid:

scholarships during the ug course are provided to some students whose family income come below a certain level. The yearly fee is 13, 700 per year . during that 1 year internship every person irrespective of reservation gets 26700 per month .

An unorthodox opinion about RIMS

Likes

The fest of rimsam and the freedom this place offers
The playground and cleanliness of the area

Dislikes

Too much work load and study load for the academics
The gymkhana is not at all well established

Availability of scholarship involves ISHAN UDAI SCHEME, NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL and other state scholarship schemes. Fee structure is like once a year payment of ?10000/- approx excluding mess fees which is almost ?2500/-

Review of a Med student.

Likes

Low cost for study and staying in hostel ie. affordability.
Campus life is good , there is all facilities of studying and playing are present

Dislikes

The hostel food are not good and breakfast & evening tiffin is not given.
Availability of foods and other things are less , so we have to struggle and buy with more cost than the normal price.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Total 26 thousand per annum is needed and the hostel fees is 30 thousand per annum. Tuition fee is 13,700 . There are some scholarships but i didn't get any one of them because of lack of information provided to the students. And it becomes too much though to complete study without any scholarship. In internship the stipends are awarded.

Likes

Time for extracurricular activities mainly sports
Education structure and the quality provided

Dislikes

No night life and no clubs or parties outside
Exams stress as no gaps are. Given in between each tests

Complete tution fee involved around 50-60 thousand and since I m general I m not getting any scholarship whereas it is there for SC st OBC people and those having low family income campus Is huge and lots of places are there to venture

Likes

Infrastructure , campus facilities offered teaching and training given .
The quality of life and picturesque campus

Dislikes

No nightlife outside the campus after 7 in the evening
Local turmoil and ethnic clashes in and around the area

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tuition fee is 13700 per year. not much subjected to hikes in recent years. The complete course expense amounts to 182000 rupees for 4 years. including academic hostel fees and all the compulsory expenses along with mess charges . There are a variety of scholarships to choose from depending upon your economic status reservation category and educational qualification available at the NSP portal some of the lucrid ones include Ishan Uday amounting to a financial assistance of around 72000 per year. After the end of 4.5 years of mbbs course when we finally graduate we are to undergo compulsory rotatory internship in various departments in our college for which we get a stipend of around 26300 rupees per month.

Likes

College campus,classroom library facilities,faculties and help from pgs and seniors,affordable couse and infrastructure,on the basis of job related factors also satisfying salary and moreover the environment of the place
College fests co curricular activities besides study trips and field visits new scopes of learning exposure to medical field clinically during postings and all scope to learn things more practically rather than only theoretical knowledge

Dislikes

Hostel accomodation problem is there as huge number of students rooms are not adequate new hoatela are not yet available especially for girls so difficult to study and all as many people living together
Mess food is not that good is rather being improved quantity provided is not adequate and even the quality and the menu need to be improved more s students from all the states of North east are here in this regional college

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tuition fee is very much affordable slightly increased or rather not increased every year Complete course cost if 60000 including everything ,various scholarships are available for minority NSP and general state scholarships students are also awarded stipend
