MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

Best medical Institute Of Jharkhand

Likes

Faculties are experienced and well versed in their respective fields.
Clinical exposure is excellent due to high patient inflow in the hospital
Regular ward visits and practical sessions enhance hands-on learning

Dislikes

While most faculty members are knowledgeable their availability for one on one mentorship can be inconsistent
Some more modernised labs could be enhance learning
Whiel internships are strong, structure guidance for international placements and USMLE/PLAB preparation could be improve

Placement Experience:

RIMS Ranchi being a Government Medical College primary focus on providing clinical exposure and preparing student for internships and post graduate exam. While concept of campus placement is more common in engineering for MBBS students placement opportunities typically revolve around intensive government services and post graduate admissions

Beauty of our medical science college Rajendra institute of medical sciences,ranchi

Likes

Our campus has a huge area of about 180 acres of land which was really impresive.
Campus life is also good because its has an indoor stadium for playing badminton and also has its own cricket stadium which was its best part.
Here the faculties are very experinced and their teaching methodologies are also great using projectors and animations to understand the concepts really well.

Dislikes

Other than indoor and cricket stadium,no more sports facilities are available.i think its need to be improved
Campus life is huge but its an open campus and there is regular visit of locals in our campus which disturbs the privacy of students inside the campus.
Some hostels need to be refurnished,especially boys hostel in terms of infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is a long duration course of about 5.5 years in which there is 1 year of compulsory internship.being a doctor is the noble profession and gives you huge respect and that's why i choose this course,this was me and my parents dream as well.this curriculum prepares you to face upcoming challenges that you have to face as a doctor.i think practical work should be more instead of just bookish knowledge.there is 3 terminals in a regular interval of 3 months and then final exams.

Academics and faculties and professors ..
The classroom .. and SGD classes .. and our academic building
Our stadium , our campus , our hostel and our ground

Dislikes

Lack of water filter instead we have to pay for water
Lack of canteen ( common ) for boys and girls
Lack of coordination between different departments

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current mode of our curriculum is CBME based that is competency based which has lessen the quantity of syllabus of mbbs course . This made the work of professors easy and the we as a students easily understand any topic and is easy for us in exam too .

Likes

Faculties are very supportive and always encourage you
College campus is quite huge and environment is also nice
Students per table for dissection is also good.. Like 45 student in one table... And such 6 tables

Dislikes

In case for girls, hostel facilities are not that good
Hostel security issues for boys. Like there are less cameras in college campus
Some outsiders near college intrude into college campus

Course curriculum is very broad as you all know its mbbs and its not a joke.. So syllabus is quite huge and and very volatile but yes with the faculties and seniors interaction, you can easily crack these things

Labs and faculty are upto mark since it is states top college one should taje admission with thinking for a second
Library is fully airconditioned and remain open till 10 pm at night
Stadium is fantastic each year RCL is organised and also sports culture are organised

Dislikes

Open campus causes problems since outsider can cause problems to student
Hostel are old water drips from the roof
Roads of campus is not upto mark and also canteen is not available

Since it is mbbs and I didn't think for a sec before enrolling in it It is proffesional course therefore here u directly get prepared for real world It is too hectic and nmc must look forward on reducing burden on Mbbs student Frequency is 4 times a year and difficulty level is moderate

Weather of Ranchi is awesome and greenery of campus is cherry on the top
Medicos share Deep bond amongst each other. Juniors are lovable and seniors are helping as well as friendly
Health care facilities are excellent being topmost medical College of jharkhand.

Dislikes

Parking is not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

CBME pattern of education has slightly made life toughfer for medicos. But its said that if you sweat more in practice you lose less blood in war. Same applies here. New curriculum prepares us for real life situations. Exams: 3 terminal and 1 University exam every year.

Why go for RIMS over any other college?

Likes

This is the highest tertiary care centre of the state with large number of patient load, providing a better platform for clinical practice than any other colleges of the state. Also the number of PG seats are highest in the state.
All the faculties are highly qualified and experienced doctors in their respective departments.
Campus life is enjoyable with fests and sports events being conducted annually including annual fest such as PALASH, cricket tournament RCL, and badminton tournament BCL, providing good opportunity for senior junior interaction.

Dislikes

Number of faculties are far less than tha number of students.
The resources for practical teaching such as instruments and rooms for teaching could not suffice a batch of 180 students.
The fest are organised by the students themselves which in a way also has a negative effect in impacting the studies and colleges being not cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although the curriculum is vast and neverending but due to new curriculum being implemented by NMC in 2019 it has focused more on integrated studies which includes complementing the studies of pre clinical subjects with clinical teaching. Per year 3 internal exams are conducted with annual professional University exam which is decisive in promoting the students further.

I like my college environment bcz I have lots of friends.
We all friends study together in every time.
My senior always help me in our hard times.

Dislikes

There is so many groups of people in college where is compitition to each other.
Here juniors do not respect there seniors.
My classmate do not have good intentions among each other

My favourite subject is anatomy and pharmacology because my faculty taught us competency based caricullum and complete their syllabus in national medical council provided time every day three class are having tough and two class are easy and one hour for extra caricullum.

Hi-tech technology for the better understanding of the subject.
State of the art classrooms for enhanced learning experience
The campus is huge and covered with lush green plants

Dislikes

Staffs in the campus are not supporting in nature
Overall hostel facility is not up to the mark
Lots of restrictions in the campus for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very fascinated by the human body so was eager to learn more about it. So I joined this curriculum. This curriculum provides real time experience and research-oriented learning. Teachers often ignore the classes or take the classes for a longer duration of time or extend the classes. So I would suggest the teachers to take classes on the provided time. Exams are taken strictly on a regular basis after every 3 months.
