As this is a government run Institute so there is no internship as like that but a compulsory internship of one year is to be completed by each student at the end of MBBS degree.
Internship is paid and students are paid statement on monthly basis.

You get to work under and with the very professors who taught you which is a very auspicious experience. You get a lot of insight doing this. The professors can put you under spotlight or expose you to new experience , or projects , or opportunities , or as a helping hand in their own works which can be a special chance.
Our campus has a huge area of about 180 acres of land which was really impresive.
Campus life is also good because its has an indoor stadium for playing badminton and also has its own cricket stadium which was its best part.
Here the faculties are very experinced and their teaching methodologies are also great using projectors and animations to understand the concepts really well.
Dislikes
Other than indoor and cricket stadium,no more sports facilities are available.i think its need to be improved
Campus life is huge but its an open campus and there is regular visit of locals in our campus which disturbs the privacy of students inside the campus.
Some hostels need to be refurnished,especially boys hostel in terms of infrastructure
Internships Opportunities:
In our overall 5.5 year course of MBBS the students are provided 1 year of compulsory internship where the students were paid about 30000 per month as a stipened,which was same for both mbbs and bds.Internship plays major role to the students because they they get opportunities to learn with the help of their seniors and their friends.For BDS students there is a compulsory internship of 1.5 years which was 6 months more than the MBBS students.

Yes the internship is the part of our 5.5 years of MBBS course . And in RIMS with huge inflow of patients daily . We will surely get imense knowledge in whatever department we'll posted . As rims has many departments

After completion of your final the college gives you the opportunity for internship in the all the departments of the Dental Institute at RIMS.
With the allotted stipends and hostel accomodation it is pretty good.

Not all but some faculties are really good....they guide you the way through dentistry and help you if you are eager to know

Consumables are very frequently exhausted and you have to buy your own materials to work on patients which is somewhat expensive
Every medical college is toxic...some people suffocate you a lot but keeping a positive attitude always helps
Infrastructure is good but is not maintained well specially in case of dental chairs which need regular furnishings

During PSM postings one has to Visit RHTC .
This is the highest tertiary care centre of the state with large number of patient load, providing a better platform for clinical practice than any other colleges of the state. Also the number of PG seats are highest in the state.
All the faculties are highly qualified and experienced doctors in their respective departments.
Campus life is enjoyable with fests and sports events being conducted annually including annual fest such as PALASH, cricket tournament RCL, and badminton tournament BCL, providing good opportunity for senior junior interaction.

Number of faculties are far less than tha number of students.
The resources for practical teaching such as instruments and rooms for teaching could not suffice a batch of 180 students.
The fest are organised by the students themselves which in a way also has a negative effect in impacting the studies and colleges being not cooperative.

Mandatory internship has to done after final year results for one year in the college hospital with a monthly stipend of 30k, which provides better opportunities for clinical and practical learning essential building skills for future works in any cooperative hospitals.
