Studying MBBS means you must forget all your past achievements and start afresh. People usually think there are certain colleges, graduating from which will be valuable in India. But keep in mind that your main focus should be on reading and gathering up knowledge.
You should focus more on self-studying than relying completely on your teachers. MBBS requires reading and re-reading. College is not a primary concern as long as you read your standard textbooks.
Government colleges have a great patient load but poor teaching faculty. Private colleges have less patient load, but better infrastructure and teaching. Finally, everything depends on your passion, interest, caliber, and skill that you acquire over years of practice.
Not all students of AIIMS or JIPMER become the best physicians. Choose a college based on your requirements and not just for your brand name.
